General Hospital Update for Friday, 15-May-2009

Today was the day that Carly has been waiting for for a year, although she doesn't know it. Yes, it's true--Michael has woken up from his coma of a year!! Only Lulu was in his room to witness the miracle.
Luke also had a miracle happen to him at the Haunted Star, as Holly Sutton, aka his English Rose, has come back to town--and will Tracy throw a fit, or what??
The world is going to come crashing down around Claudia, as Jason has let her know that he knows that she ordered the hit that put Michael in a coma, even though she's still denying things every inch of the way.
Wow, was this a busy Friday, or what?
We start off with Michael, the star of the show. When we first check in on him, the doctors are still convinced that the surgery was a failure, and he will never wake up from his coma. All but Carly believe it, as Oliva and Jacks have to gently convince her to leave Michael's bedside and come home.
She and Jacks come home, and there's a scene where he tells her that he had the work stopped on Michael's room. Carly seems like she's holding up, when suddenly she spots a picture of a healthy Michael on the mantle.
This causes her to collapse in Jack's arms, surrendering to her total grief.
Sonny is also dealing with his grief in his way--in the hospital chapel, where he's comforted by Olivia. And even Edward is trying to make the best of the situation, being supported by Rebecca, of all people.
But as I have said, it's Lulu who is there when Michael opens his eyes after a year. He's talking, asking her not to leave him and asking what's happened to him! This is only going to get better...
On to Luke and Holly. Luke is back in Port Charles after failing to hook up with Holly in Singapore. We all know that Holly was there, but didn't want to deal with Tracy. But she's on the Haunted Star, in all her English goodness, and I'm sure that Tracy will have a FIT!!! Can't wait...
Finally, Claudia and Jason. Jason has walked in on Claudia's latest argument with Ric,and he lets her know that he's on to her secret and knows that she was involved in Michael's shooting. She's denying it for the umpteenth time when Sonny walks in.
