General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 5-May-2009

It's a rather interesting Tuesday on General Hospital. Sonny,with his boyish charm, tries to charm Olivia when he returns her cell phone. He wants something ,and she is not going to give. She isn't too moved by this and begins to lambast Claudia.They talk at length about how Claudia 's being pregnant has made things more complicated. Yet, there are times when the smug Sonny defends Claudia. Olivia must still adore Sonny,but she will remain just "his friend" from the past.She did look hot in her black outfit.She says; " Claudia is trying to trap you,and Sonny says : " I am already trapped."In the meantime, Claudia needs help because she is having stomach cramps and spotting a little. No one is there except Ric sooooooooo he takes her to the hospital.She begs Kelly, her doc ,and others to get rid of Ric.He appalls her because he knows how she is. Why does he listen in on her conversation with Sonny?Is he Claudia's baby's dad? Who knows? Ric is a pest now. Claudia and the baby are ok. She was dehydrated, etc. . Sonny tells Claudia :" I don't know what will happen to us, but we will take care of this baby". Ouch! Claudia looks very crushed with his reply .She seems to love Sonny ,but....
Luke and Ethan play games while waiting for the results of the DNA test. Tracy tries to get a copy of these results,but a tough Epiphany tells her NO doing. Of course, Tracy has to remind her that she is a Quartermain.HA Epiphany tells her "No one will see these results except Luke and Ethan." It's not easy to con Epiphany, but now Luke may be different. Tracy thinks that Ethan is conning Luke. He tells Luke :" I do not want to be your son." He adds : "Why can't we keep things as they are.?" Luke assures Ethan that son or no son .. he will help him.
A touching scene occurs when Rebecca goes to see Nicolas to explain that she and lucky did not make love. She and Nic hit the couch,but Rebecca stops the lovemaking. She wants to make sure that he is loving her .. not Emily.She wants to leave, but a storm is brewing sooooooo. She stays in Windemere for the night. Nic gets a little inebriated and looks sad when Rebecca comes in wearing EM's lovely white lingerie . Rebecca knows that he is upset so she leaves him alone.She has tried to convey how she really feels.Is Rebecca pretending or feigning concern? Time will tell.. There are so many trust issues to deal with in the lives of these people sooooo.
Lucky and Liz dine and discuss how they can make their relationship work better this time. Elizabeth says: " We must take this slowly."They have ,indeed, always loved each other. Yet,is love enough?
