General Hospital Update for Friday, 24-Apr-2009

As we all know, Port Charles can be a dangerous place--and the mob wasn't to blame for all the trouble today! Jason and Jerry were brought to GH today, Carly fainted (and still hasn't told Jacks about her condition) and a decision Robin made could have potentially fatal consequences for Emma.
Almost forgot to mention that Ric decided to drop a bombshell on Claudia and we saw the new Michael for the first time!
Let's start off with Jason and Jerry and their latest visit to GH. Remember, they were in a parking garage and Jason was in the process of kidnapping Jerry, when he turned on his remote car-starter--and boom, Jerry's car exploded! (Once again, Claudia's guys mess up a hit...)
Anyway, the explosion knocks them to the ground, which is where Alexis found both of them.
She calls 911 from her cell phone and the paramedics are there in a flash. Neither one of them are conscious and they are soon speeding to GH.
Once at GH, Alexis calls Jacks and Monica is examining Jason--and I have to tell you, GH is the only hospital in the universe that would let that (a mother working on her son) happen!
Patrick is the only staff member who sees that something's just a teensy bit wrong with that scenario and calls her on it...
Jacks now is on the scene and tells his comatose brother that he's lucky there isn't a plug, because he would pull it! Afterwards, everyone is stunned when Jerry's bed is empty. Looks like he beat it.
Carly is also at GH, telling Jacks that she's there to meet Michael when he's transferred there from the Aftercare Institute--but she makes a secret visit to Dr. Lee, who doesn't have good news for her.
Carly definately has the blood condition that could cause her to develop clots if she became pregnant. This could potentially lead to strokes. Dr. Lee tells her there's a 1 in 2 chance that this could happen and reluctantly decides against her will to help Carly have her baby--but says that any emotional stress is out for her!
So it doesn't help when Epiphany tells Carly that Jason's in the ER and goes storming in there demanding to know what's wrong from Monica--and promptly faints in Jacks' arms! (Remember, she hasn't told him about her blood condition).
There's even more drama going on at the hospital...Robin picked up Emma and brought her to the hospital for a checkup with her pediatrician.
She's just confided in Kelly that she's off her meds when she pushes Emma's stroller accidentally down the stairs! Remember, Liz had accidentally pushed a wheelchair down the same flight of stairs at the start of the show--and Robin was there to see it.
On to Ric and his bombshell. He tells Claudia out of the blue that he could be the father of her baby--and she's freaking out, because he could be right! Ewwww
Finally, we did get a glimpse of the new Michael at GH. Interesting...
