General Hospital Update for Thursday, 16-Apr-2009

There are many key players who have returned to General Hospital. Sam has returned to do her sleuthing with an anxious Spinelli. Jerry Jacks has popped up from his demise, and the lovely vixen Helena is on board again. Yikes! We have some interesting days ahead in Port Chuck. ;-)
Jerry ,being the tech mastermind that he is, destroys all but one of those incriminating cds. He does this mainly to protect his beloved bro Jax and Carly. He has been living off monies from Ian Devlin's funds. He wants to now atone for his sins.He scares the whatever out of Ric,and dares him to open his big mouth. He also has words for Claudia. She must feel a ton of relief now, but Jacks will be watching her. Of course, Sonny has made it very clear that he does not want to bring another child into his mobbish, violent world. The irony is that Claudia may genuinely want a baby with him.Claudia does know how to assuage Sonny's feelings when he is feeling down. Yet, he is still dubious of her agendas. This puts a major strain on Claudia.In fact, Spinelli has evidence that Jerry was involved in the shooting of little Michael. Yet, sonny asks: "Where do Ric and Claudia fit into this scenario?" Will Sonny ever truly love and respect Claudia? I hope so.
Carly, as usual, calls Jason and discusses the supposedly pregnancy with him. So far, she has not taken the pregnancy test that was given to her by Olivia. She is apprehensive because being pg could be dangerous to her health.She has been faintish.
Robin and Patrick get into a heated argument in front of the GH staff. He accuses her of having had an affair. She pounces on him hard with a slap.She feels humiliated that the staff knows about their marital problems. Robin is always soooooooo aweet so to see her "play ugly" blows this fan's mind.She has not taken her antidepressant or gotten the therapy she needs.When Carly appears, she lambasts her too for NO good reason. Robin tells Patrick that she did not have sex with cute Brad. She says: " I do love you so much, and I want us to love each other, etc. She adds that ,perhaps,. she is destroying their family with her Post Partum disorder. Does she intend to get help to save herself ..her marriage, etc.? It's up to her. It's her problem which she needs to deal with for her sake,Patrick's, and Emma's.
Helena goes to Windemere to make a request of Nikolas. She wants a painting that someone painted just for her. Rebecca is there and Helena treats her like dirt under her shoes. Alexis,in a sense, exasperates the problem ,by not believing that Rebecca is up to par. Rebecca tells them: "This is a crazy family,I am out of here."Is this Emily look-alike- for real? One wonders too.The Witchy Helena tells Alexis : "You are not aging well, perhaps you need some collagen." I am wondering if Jerry will come back into Alexis' life.
