General Hospital Update for Friday, 10-Apr-2009

Hard to tell that it's Spring in Port C--as there sure were alot of black clouds overhead today.
The big news is that Lulu and Johnny are finally quits, and Lulu is devastated, and Sonny is VERY close to finding out something about his wife that he doesn't want to know--that she was behind Michael's shooting last year. Rebecca is close to finding out the results of her biopsy, and Lulu is now helping Tracy get the goods on Ethan Lovett. There could also be potentially good news on the Carly-Jacks front, but more on that later.
Let's start off with Lulu and Johnny. After a huge fight at their apartment, (which Maxie walks in on), they are officially over--and Lulu thinks it's because of Johnny's growing attraction to Maxie.
That's only part of the reason. The other part is Johnny deciding to help Claudia with her problems, meaning that he's got to get back in the mob, but I'll talk about that in a bit. In the meantime, this new duo can't deny that there is something between them and wind up kissing passionately on the docks--not knowing that they're doing it in front of Spinelli!
Now on to Claudia, and her increasing train wreck of a life. As we remember, she's being blackmailed by Ric; who wants her to find evidence against Sonny and Jason that he can give to the FBI, or else he tells Sonny that she was behind Michael's shooting.
And this is why Johnny is leaning towards going back into the Mob, which is a bad idea, as we all know--AND, this is why Claudia is desparate to have Sonny's baby. I guess she thinks that Sonny won't off her for at least 9 months??
Anyway, Jason has had Bernie investigate the shooting and has come to the conclusion that Ian Devlin definately didn't act alone--since money in offshore accounts is still being moved. Jason is concluding that this means that Ric is involved, and Sonny calls Ric to his house.
Ric promptly throws Claudia under the bus and tells Sonny that she was involved. Not good for Mrs C...
On to Ethan Lovett. As we know, based on the old picture of Luke and Robert Scorpio that's always on his person, there is definately some sort of a connection there--and Tracy is hot to find out what it is!
She hires Spinelli to dig up the dirt on him and the geek only finds out where he's staying in Port C. Tracy then enlists a crying Lulu to help her out and she goes over to his room, where Lovett demands to know how she found him! There is definately more there that we don't know about.
Only other items to report are that Rebecca is close to knowing the results of her biopsy, and Nicholas is by her side for support and Carly decides that her fainting spells could mean that she's pregnant? She has made an appt with Dr. Lee to find out.
And we will have to wait till Monday to see what happens next!
