General Hospital Update for Friday, 3-Apr-2009

Robin's condition definately took a turn for the worse today, and poor Patrick really doesn't know what he's in for! Claudia's trying one of the oldest tricks in the book with Sonny, while Carly took a painful walk down memory lane. All in all, not one of the happiest episodes in recent memory, but let's begin.
We start off with Robin, who has had her first therapy session for Post Partum Depression. Although she accepts that she does indeed have a problem, she's REALLY not happy over getting a prescription for antidepressants.
While Patrick is frantically trying to find her, Robin is at Sonny's house, where she's listening to Sonny as he tells her why he thinks she should take them.
After hearing from Sonny how pharmaceuticals changed his life in dealing with being bipolar, Robin leaves and goes to the piers, where everyone in PC goes when they need to think.
She tears up the prescription and throws the pieces into the water--and then things get really knarly!
Robin has a powerful hallucination; seeing Emma as a little girl, who warns her about going into the water at this time of year. After Emma tells Robin how her mom didn't want her, we see Patrick on the piers, frantically searching for Robin. Sadly, we get just a glimpse of Robin in the water!
On to Carly and her painful memories. After catching Claudia at Michael's bedside, and having the rip-roaring fight that we all knew was coming after THAT little episode, Carly goes to the Coffee warehouse; scene of Michael's shooting a year ago.
The memories are almost too much, but fortunately Jason is there to catch her in time. Carly tells Jason about the latest medical news on Michael--how the new procedure he might be a candidate for could possibly kill him, and they discuss possible treatment options. My money is on Michael having the procedure in the near future, but we'll have to see.
Finally, Claudia and her latest scam, I guess that Claudia has decided that the only way she has a chance of keeping Sonny is to get knocked up, so we see her sticking pins in the condoms she just bought.
When Sonny gets home, he's depressed over it being the one-year anniversary of Michael's shooting and tells Claudia that there is no way he wants to bring another child into the world!
I guess that Claudia didn't really hear that part, because one thing leads to another, and the Corinthoses are soon heading upstairs! I wonder if they'll be in his bed or hers...but we shall have to see on Monday!
