General Hospital Update for Friday, 6-Mar-2009

Spinelli is on the run--and it's killing Jason! Patrick is growing increasingly worried about Robin's behavior, Carly makes a decision about Michael and Claudia makes a narrow escape. Want more from this episode?
How's this: Lulu isn't exactly in the Ethan Lovett fanclub yet! What a day in Port Charles...
We start off with Spinelli, who is on the run with Winifred, aka the Priestess. This cyberduo winds up in a small diner in an undisclosed location, where they find out that the owner has to close after 37 years, because the bank has cut off his credit.
The Assassin of Cyberspace decides to come to the rescue and after a few clicks of the mouse, the owner has his credit back and then some.
While all this is going on, Jason has read Spinelli's note back at the Penthouse, and is starting to make plans to go after him. Sonny comes over and talks him out of it--telling him that it's probably best to let him go and cut all mob ties--and that it would be worse if Jason did go after him.
Jason, who reminds Sonny that the only reason Spinelli left is because he must have overheard Agent Rainer telling him that he had to bring in Sonny to the FBI or else Spinelli was busted, reluctantly agrees, even telling Sam this when she comes to tell him that she knows that Spinelli is headed for Los Angeles. The upshot is that nobody's going after him now--but Maxie isn't in on the action yet!
On to Robin and Patrick. Emma isn't even three months old yet and Robin's already back at work; signing up for shifts at Mercy Hospital while GH is being rebuilt.
She tells Patrick that she wants to resums her career immediately, and can handle both work and motherhood with the help of a nanny.
Patrick and Robin get into a huge fight at Mercy after Sonny comes to her asking her to consult on Michael's case and Patrick nixes it. He tells her that although he appreciates how much she cares for Michael, she now has her own daughter to worry about and she needs to spend more time with her.
What really started the fight going was when Patrick gave Robin the phone number of the shrink Matt told him about who specializes in post-partum depression! NOT a good move...
And it's going to get even worse for Robin, who made that remark to Ethan about not having kids, remember?
On to Michael. Carly has done research and has discovered a new experimental procedure that has helped some head trauma patients. She wants to pursue it, and decides to go forward, after her latest visit to Michael at the Institute.
However, she narrowly misses Claudia at her son's bedside, who it seems has been making regular visits over the past year. Claudia narrowly gets out of Michael's room in time...
Finally Lulu, who isn't a huge fan of Ethan Lovett's. She found Robin's wallet at the bar at the Haunted Star, and immediately thinks that he stole it. (Little did she know that Robin was at the bar...)
Lulu goes over to Robin's house to give her her wallet, and lets slip Ethan's remark that Robin said she didn't have kids--right in front of Patrick, who has just walked in!! Uh-oh...
We'll have to wait till Monday to see the next chapter!
