General Hospital Update for Friday, 20-Feb-2009

It was a day of endings and possibly a day of new beginnings in Port Charles today. Lucky and Sam agreed to a friendly parting of the ways, Jason and Sonny might work together one more time, Jax and Carly are going to try it again and Maxie and Johnny are hitting the bright lights, big city! And one more thing: nobody's seen Anthony since the fire--and Kate is still DYING to tell Sonny what she knows about Michael's shooting...
We start off with Kate, who has let herself into Sonny and Claudia's house. She's still looking for more Jerry Jax DVD's, but Claudia catches her in the act.
One thing leads to another and the women are into their obligatory cat fight, when Sonny walks in. Kate leaves, so Claudia wins this round. Her stock is on the rise with Sonny, who was impressed when she told him about Anthony's master plan.
In the meantime, noone's seen Anthony since the fire --and many people in Port Charles would like nothing better.
Jason is getting the heat from Agent Rainer and Agent Leeds of the FBI to find Anthony, or else Spinelli goes to jail for a VERY long time. And of course, Sonny would like nothing better than to find his father in law and off him!
Sonny goes over to Jason's place and offers to work with him one more time to find Anthony--and I think that Jason's going to take him up on it.
Sam is also interested in helping Jason find Anthony, just because she doesn't want to see Spinelli go down the river. She also meets up with Lucky and gently tells him that she is also going to pursue getting her PI license--adding that they've been over for awhile and they both know it.
Lucky also agrees, and they share one last hug before parting. (I really think he's going to go back with Liz, but we shall see...)
And speaking of MORE relationships, Jax and Carly have been doing it like bunnies ever since they got out of GH--and are pleasantly surprised the morning after to get room service in their Metro Court room--courtesy of Morgan!
Carly takes that opportunity to tell her son that yes, it's true: Jax is coming home! Carjax is back--and they're going to try it again.
On to Maxie and Johnny and their fabulous adventure. While Kate was spying on Sonny, Maxie and Lulu were putting out the latest fire at Crimson. Seems like a supermodel was supposed to wear a red dress designed for Crimson in honor of Women's Heart Healthy Month to the Campbell's Soup Fashion Gala in New York City, but this fell through at the last minute.
The girls have to fix it, and fix it fast. Maxie, who as we all know, is a heart transplant survivor, decides to wear the dress to one last gala. Only problem is she needs an escort--and Spinelli is coughing and sneezing.
He's out--and Frederico the designer is also out, thanks to his nose job. No eligible bachelors out there--except Johnny.
Lulu at first says nothing doing, but changes her mind--only if she can go too.
So we see this trio riding in the limo, but only Maxie and Johnny get out and meet the press. Poor Lulu...
And with that, we'll have to pick it up on Monday!
