Have you ever heard the saying 'When it hits, it's really going to hit the fan?" Well, it really hit--and at GH, it realllly hit the fan today.
The poison from Earl Bragg's body is now in the air ducts of the hospital and it's starting to spread to other parts of the hospital. And people are starting to drop like flies. It's so bad, that GH has been put on lockdown by the FBI, but not before some key players went down.
Let's see, as we know, everyone who was in the OR with Earl Bragg is now in ICU--Monica, Matt, Liz, and other unidentified doctors and nurses. One doctor died, along with Earl Bragg.
The OR and the Hospital Board Room share an air duct, so the poison hit three people who were there for Carly's benefit: Kate (who was ready to spill the beans to Sonny on Claudia's involvement with Michael's shooting before she dropped); Trevor and Claudia, who went down like a ton of bricks at the end of the show.
Jason, who's been working with Patrick and Agent Rainer, locked down the boardroom on their orders, and the trapped people there tried to block off the airducts with little success.
And of course, Spinelli is there as always, with his trusty laptop fired up and working overtime. He's been hacking into the GH Engineering system on Rainer's orders, trying to block off airducts.
Only other things of note that happened today were the introduction of a new character: Aussie (another one :)) ) Ethan Lovett, who made quite the debut by trying to rob the Haunted Star; being introduced to Luke's trusty rifle--and Luke in the process.
He got behind the bar and was able to get Luke good and tanked. He tried to rob Luke again, but the boozing didn't work. Luke still was able to get the rifle pointed in his face.
And Mac came over to visit Robin, who's still bummed that she can't go to the benefit at GH. (Little does she know, lol..) She has talked Mac into babysitting Emma so she can go and has one foot out the door when he gets a call from the station, cluing him into the crisis at GH, so no luck for her.
And that was about it for today. Hopefully no more people will die on Monday, but we shall have to see, right?
