General Hospital Update for Friday, 23-Jan-2009

Well, trouble is definately brewing in Port C--and we're only days away from finding out what it is. All we know is it hits at the benefit for the Michael Corinthos Foundation for Pediatric Head Trauma Patients--and everyone who's anyone in Port Charles is there, of course.
The only other big happenings of note today included Robin and her struggle with postpartum depression, that's now so obvious that even Carly is noticing, and Rebecca, aka the Emily lookalike, is now officially in town--and of course Matt is hitting on her. Almost forgot to mention that Claudia basically told Anthony she's on to his little game and knows everything (thanks to Ric).
Well, just like River City, there's soon going to be trouble in Port Charles. All we know is that it's going to be major, the FBI is involved and the Equinox Corporation has something to do with it.
AND it hits at Carly's big benefit--which I THINK will be at GH, but I could be wrong.
Speaking of Carly, she went over to Robin's today to invite her to the big bash. Right in the middle of things, Emma started crying--but Robin made no move to go check on her.
After Carly finally got her to at least check on Emma, Robin wheeled her out in her bassinet--and made no move to pick her up.
By now, Carly smells a rat--and picks up Emma herself, smiling as the baby falls asleep in her arms.
Now convinced that Robin has postpartum depression, Carly goes to GH to share this with Patrick.
On to Emily, aka Rebecca. She's dropped off her resume at the GH HR Offices and is in the elevator when of course Matt, aka Dr. Horndog, steps into the elevator. He hits on her with no luck...
Meanwhile, Nicholas has stopped by the Q's to let them know he's remembering Emily on her birthday. Tracy is her normal uncharming self, but Monica appreciates the gesture, which is nice.
FInally Claudia, who tells Anthony over lunch at the Metrocourt that she's on to his little game, courtesy of Ric, and knows all about his shooting Kate on her wedding day and his plan to get Sonny in the organization--AND how he's not paralyzed. AND it looked like Anthony's heart actually skipped a beat!! Nice.....
We'll have to wait till Monday to see how it turns out!
