General Hospital Update for Friday, 16-Jan-2009

A big storm is brewing in Port Charles--and from the looks of things, something even more sinister is also under the surface.
A few more clues were given as to the growing crisis that's getting ready to hit, along with usual PC business. Let's see: Claudia's still sweating over trying to find Jerry's CD's; Matt is still hitting on Maxie, Robin is dealing with a possible case of postpartum depression and Jason and Sonny's rift is growing.
Things started off with Patrick talking about the crisis after it hit, and it sounds like he's talking to the FBI about it, so that can't be good. We also see Winifred at the PCPD talking about casualties, so this looks like it's going to be a doozy when it hits.
We pick up 8 hours before the crisis, with Sonny and Jason. Jason has admitted to Sonny that he did make a deal with the Feds to free Spinelli--and that involved giving them information on him. Jason adds that things can end; only if Sonny agrees to leave the Zacharra family.
Sam is also interested in Spinelli, and goes to Jason herself to find out the type of deal that was cut. Jason doesn't share much; no big surprise!
On to Maxie, who tells Spinelli that even though yes, Matt is hitting on her, she's still not interested in dating him. This makes the geek feel somewhat better, until he overhears her flirting with Frederico on the phone!
Kind of makes everyone wonder how far this girl will go until she finally stops, right?
Moving on to Claudia, she's still trying to find Jerry's latest CD, when Ric interrupts her. One thing leads to another, and right when they're talking about doing it on the couch in Sonny's study, Anthony walks in!! (Bad timing, right?)
Anthony tells them in no uncertain terms to knock it off when Sonny walks in, and an impromptu meeting starts.
Seems that Anthony is still smarting over losing his shipment and losing his son, since Sonny paid Johnny's bail. He tells Sonny that he's already made plans to retaliate, and Sonny tells him to go right ahead, adding that he's not in it for the power struggle.
Anthony is happy now, which seems to play into Sonny's hands.
Finally, Robin. While she was over at Jason's, Liz not only fed and changed Emma, but finished her unpacking, making her feel pretty small! And of course, Patrick noticed, since he signed out early from GH!
Robin is still denying that she has postpartum depression, but is very reluctant to hold Emma for a picture in their new house. Sounds like this story is just heating up!
And it looks like we'll have to wait till Monday to see how things play out!
