General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 29-Oct-2008

Today's preps for Robin and Patrick's wedding on GH went fairly well except the groom didn't show up.At the moment when Patrick was to leave the hospital, Johnny and Claudia arrived with Anthony. While arguing with Claudia, he had a seizure. Being the dedicated doc Patrick is,he cannot leave Anthony without operating. Matt, his, long lost brother, will assist him. In the meantime, Mack and others are waiting anxiously for Patrick.
Coleman, his best man, says ;"Don't worry, he will be here."Since Patrick is not responding to calls, nobody knows where he is.Has he gone on the lam? Does he have cold feet?
Anna does the motherly thing with her daughter, and Maxie runs around doing final preps for this lovely wedding-to-be.Liz fixes Robin's hair and Robin thanks her for being a good friend. She said :"I wanted Jason to be here with you." Of course, the nervous Mack is not thrilled with Jason's attendance. Lots of intimate reminising is going on as Mack recalls rearing "his 3 girls": Georgie, Maxie, and Robin.When Mack married Felicia, he gained Georgie and Maxie.This is a sweet moment of remembrance for Maxie and Mack.In fact, for something blue, Maxie gives Robin Georgie's blue sparkling bracelet.Georgie is really missed ...Anna gives a hanky to Robin from her dad who cannot attend due to bad health. She also reads a touching note from Robert to his daughter. Robin is so poised ,and she looks so lovely. She says : " I am not nervous,I am content."Patrick and I are soooooo blessed."
In another scenario, Kate's cousin Olivia gets into a major argument,as usual, with Sonny. She tells him to please be honest with Kate. She accuses him of wanting to get active as a mobster so he can have the power to revenge Kate's shooting. Sonny is definitely still on the warpath for Karpov, but he has no intention of marrying Claudia. Kate tells Olivia to stay out of her business with Sonny.Perhaps, she needs to leave now. She is so angry with Sonny soooooo.
Many guests arrive and a dapper looking Coleman greets them. I guess some are truly surprised that this bar keeper has been chosen to serve as Patrick's best man. :-)He does fine.
When Sonny and Jason show up at the same time, Sonny reminisces some too about their friendship when A younger Robin lost Stone. Of course, at this time, Jason and Sonny have a very strained relationship.Isn't it unique how truths are revealed during happy, festive times and sad times? Well, Please tune in tomorrow to see, hopefully, a lovely wedding before Robin has to rush to the hospital to give birth to their precious little girl.
