And August ends with a bang in Port Chuck! Let's see: another murder trial is a brewin', Jason and Liz can't keep their hands off each other, Spinelli is on the mend and Robin's friends are still trying to convince her to accept Patrick's proposal. Almost forgot to mention that Sonny and Kate are on the island--and the biggest news of all??? Laura's back!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
We start off with the glorious return of Genie Francis as Laura Spencer. She's still in Shadybrook, and tells Lulu that she's been having lucid moments for some time now, but had asked the staff not to tell Luke.
Lulu opens up to her mother and tells her the whole story behind Logan's murder--not leaving out her responsibility for his death.
Laura is non-judgemental and expresses her love and forgiveness for her daughter, which is the best medicine that Lulu could have.
And speaking of the trial, Ric is preparing Johnny's defense at the PCPD, when Claudia tells him that she's prepared to testify that she saw Johnny kill Logan in self-defense.
This was after Anthony paid everyone a visit, telling them that if Johnny is convicted, heads are gonna roll, yada yada. AND he saw right through Claudia and knew she was lying--and called her on it!!
On to Spinelli, who is recovering from his stakeout injuries at GH. He tells Liz to hook up with Jason to warn him about Sasha, Karpov's attorney.
Liz meets Jason at her studio and gives him Spinelli's warning--but Jason denies any involvement with the attorney.
However, one thing leads to another, with the room getting steamier by the moment, and Liz and Jason are soon in each other's arms!
While we're at GH, Patrick has turned to the internet to get Robin to accept his marriage proposal, having Anna tape a video message from Spinelli's room to her daughter.
Sonny and Kate? Sonny has taken Kate to his private island, where they have started a game of strip poker! Can't wait to see how this one turns out!
