General Hospital Update for Friday, 22-Aug-2008

Happy Friday! Are you Olympiced out? It's nice to get back into the inner workings of Port Charles again.
Let's see...today, Patrick popped the question, Spinelli and Maxinista, PI's are back in business, Lulu was able to see Johnny (and Logan!!) and Sonny saw Kate in her wedding dress, with potential bad luck! Almost forgot to say that Nadine and Nick had a dinner date.
We start off with Patrick and Robin. Of course, Patrick had to make an event out of his proposal, doing it in front of almost the entire cast at the nursing station at GH. He even got down on one knee for added effect!
It didn't work with Robin, who ran away in a panic. Patrick found her sitting on a park bench and she told him that although she does indeed love him, she can't marry him. It was touching, and they both were crying.
On to Spinelli and Maxie, who are on a stakeout in front of Karpov's warehouse. Naturally, things do go haywire for them, as they are spotted by Karpov's people. Spinelli decides to get out of the car (for what reason, I don't know) and Maxie follows. Suddenly, there's a car heading straight for them--and we are going to have to wait to see what comes next.
Speaking of people who don't like Karpov, Sonny actually walks in on a wedding dress fitting for Kate, who decides to break tradition and let him see her in it. There's bad luck, however, because she pricked herself with a pin and there's blood on the dress.
Now, Johnny and Lulu. Lulu works to get herself signed out of Shadybrook for the day, convincing Jason to say he's her brother, if he'll take her to Johnny at the PCPD.
He does that, and soon the lovers are reunited at the police station--but Claudia's not exactly thrilled about it. They are holding hands, but Lulu's visions of Logan follow her here, as she sees a dead Logan standing in front of her, causing her to scream.
Finally, Nadine and Nick's dinner date. They're having a scrumptious meal at Windemere, and Nick looks like he's finally starting to have fun after Emily. Good for them!
And with that, we'll have to wait till Monday to see what happens next!
