General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 1-Jul-2008

General Hospital was a little all over the map today with its stories. Jerry Jacks was held at gun point by Johnny. Claudia talked Johnny out of killing Jerry. Later, Jerry tells Alexis if he dies to use his insurance policy. He must fear for his life now that he has angered the Zacharra family.He definitely defended Alexis and her girls.Ric did likewise.
Now Ric goes to see Sonny with his own declaration as he tells Sonny to steer clear of The Zacharra family.He tells Sonny: " You have the chance to be free now and to be happy."Sonny tells him that leaving the mob biz is not as easy as it looks.
Carly cries and tells Jax that she is not pregnant. Jax asks her why Sonny told him to get a paternity test. Carly pretends like she doesn't know why Sonny made such a stupid comment. Why is Carly determined to anger Kate if she does ,indeed, love Jax? She barges into Kate's office to tell her that Sonny may not show for their wedding.She mentioned what had happened to Brenda years ago.
Sonny pours his heart out to Jason. He asks: "Have you been sleeping with Carly?"They banter back and forth. Then, Sonny leaves by asking a rather important question.: "Why did you stand by and watch Carly take my children away from me?" Jason looks a little dumbfounded. Later, a babbling Spinelli is given a good bill of health and jason arrives to take him home. Spinelli thinks that Elizabeth is angry with him for making a statement about Claudia's liking Jason.Liz tells him not to fret.
Anna has a great talk with Patrick. She is convinced that Patrick is sincere about loving Robin and wanting to take care of her and THEIR baby. Robin accuses her mom of siding with Patrick. Since Patrick has hired Diane to help him with visitation rights,Robin discusses this sensitive issue with Alexis. Poor Patrick has done a lot to gain Robin's trust in this baby situation. She now is being stubborn and Patrick is frustrated.He says: " She is not listening."Kate is continuing to give Maxie and LuLu orders RE: The Wedding dresses, etc...It's going to be interesting to see if Sonny will marry the lovely Kate. :-)HAVE A GREAT FOURTH OF JULY TO ALL!
