Maxie kissed Johnny, but Lulu interrupted. Johnny assured Lulu that he wanted nothing to do with Maxie. Maxie again approached Johnny on the docks, but was once again interrupted with Lulu. Johnny then received a call from Trevor, notifying him that Jason torched the mansion.
Carly and Jax chose to fight for their marriage, and shared a kiss. Lulu soon came by, asking Carly to talk to Jason in order to prevent a Mob war. Carly told Lulu that no matter what, a Mob war cannot be prevented. Jax reminded Lulu that Carly cut all ties to Jason and Sonny. Once Lulu left, Carly shared with Jax that she knew exactly what Lulu was going through.
Still worrying about Maria's roses, Anthony told Jason that he did him a favor in burning 40 years of junk, but then changed his mood to anger, realizing that 40 years of memories had been destroyed as well. Jason left. Trevor returned, and assured Anthony that the rose garden was unharmed. Johnny returned home, and said that Anthony should keep from retaliating against Jason. After Johnny left, Trevor tried to convince Anthony to do the opposite, but Anthony chose to do what Johnny suggested. Later on, Ric came by, announcing that Sonny signed the business over to Jason, and therefore, this was all Jason's doing.
Spinelli arrived at a shooting range to learn how to properly use a firearm. After a bumpy few minutes, Sam arrived, surprised to see Spinelli. Sam took Spinelli back to Jason's penthouse, where she showed him how to treat a woman to dinner. Jason returned home, but left upon receiving a call from Sonny. At Sonny's house, Sonny told Jason that he didn't sign the business over to him for him to handle things the way that he handled the Zacchara's. Jason reminded Sonny that he was now in charge, and Sonny can no longer give orders.
Claudia brought Nikolas back into Wyndemere, and put him in his bed. While giving him some pain medication (and taking some herself for her stab wound), Claudia accused Nik of wanting to kill himself so that he can once more be with Emily. Nikolas told Claudia that if he wanted to die, he would have turned down brain surgery.
