General Hospital Update for Friday, 25-Apr-2008

Wow, what a Friday! Ian is trying to skedaddle out of town, Anna's back (YAY!!) and in a salute to that old 90's song, Patrick's thinking Robin's mom has got it going on!! Maxie and Spinelli have teamed together again, Ric and Sonny are butting heads (what else is new) and Claudia and Jason are still being shot at! Almost forgot to mention that Lulu and Johnny also had a major confrontation, putting their relationship in serious jeopardy. Whew, I'm tired just typing all of that!
We start off with Anna, who's back in town between cases. She goes over to Robin's apartment and is stunned to find her baby's got a bun in the oven! This means that she's going to be a gasp, GRANDMOTHER!! Oh noooooo...
Anyway, after she catches up with Robin, there's a knock at the door, and it's baby daddy Patrick (who's still being recast--and I haven't a clue why btw).
A drink is what Anna decides she needs, and she invites everyone over to PC's favorite dive bar, Jake's--after telling Robin that she can only have orange juice.
Patrick goes first to save the ladies a table, but Anna's cell phone rings and she's got to tie up loose ends on a case. She tells Robin to go anyway and she'll be there when she can.
Robin goes to Jake's--just in time to overhear Patrick tell Coleman the bartender that Anna's actually hotter than Robin!! Looks like someone's got some 'splaining to do!
On to Ian, who's trying to get the heck out of Dodge. And can you blame him--with Spinelli, Jason and "Maxinista" hot on his trail?
Spinelli has picked up that Ian is leaving town and together with Maxie decides to get Mac in on it so he can be stopped.
Maxie brings Mac to the docks, just in time to see Ian walking by. Spinelli pops up and fakes having some sort of an attack to bring the good Dr. D over to him.
Mac is confused when Ian tries to ignore Spinelli and asks him "Hey, you're a doctor?" More on that on Monday, I'm sure.
On to Sonny and Ric. Sonny hooks up with Ric in Anthony Zacharra's room at Shadybrook and asks his little brother as a favor to stop representing his rival; saying that he understands how he wants to get back at Trevor.
Ric is having none of it and says he's also through with trying to get approval from Sonny, since he knows now that it's never going to happen--so nothing doing.
After Sonny leaves, Anthony tells Ric that the nicest thing that Trevor ever said about him was that he was incompetent on a good day--and he knows now that that's not true. Talk about a back-handed compliment...
On to Jason and Claudia, who are still holed up in the cabin and still getting shot at, thanks to the hit that Anthony put out on her. Jason is still trying to get the straight scoop out of Claudia, trying to find out if she knows anything about who shot Michael--and Claudia is being cagey, which is frustrating the heck out of Jason.
Finally, Lulu and Johnny, who have had what appears to be their final fight. She asks him to leave the business if he wants to choose her, which he's not ready to do.
She sees this is true when she goes over to Sonny's to pick up Kate's Blackberry--just in time to see Johnny pulling a gun on Sonny demanding that he tell him where Claudia is!! And we're going to have to wait till Monday to see how this one play out....
