General Hospital Update for Friday, 18-Apr-2008

Carly's prayers were answered today, or were they? Things are definately getting dicier for Dr. Devlin, Lulu and Maxie continue their catfight and Max confesses to Sonny that yes, he got busy with Diane!! I almost forgot that Anthony Zacharra has gotten sprung from his hospital and could be a free man, SOON, courtesy of Ric.
We start with Michael. There's still no change in his condition, and Jacks is trying to get Carly to see reality--that he will never wake up from his coma--and if he does, he could be severely brain damaged.
Carly doesn't believe it and is maintaining a constant vigil at his bedside, only going home to change clothes and see Morgan.
I noticed that he was taken off the ventilator and now only has an oxygen canula--and at the end of the show, Michael actually opened his eyes!
On to Dr. Devlin, who as we know, pulled the trigger. Spinelli is doing cyber-sleuthing for Jason and sees security camera footage at the coffee warehouse showing Devlin's car in the lot.
Jason can't figure out why Devlin would be there and wonders if Devlin could be the shooter. He has Spinelli dig deeper into his background--and Spinelli finds that although his medical credentials are in perfect order, his finances are a mess. It's fair to say that suspicion is deepening around Dr. D--and now another person is wondering if it could've been him!
After Devlin drops by the Zacharra home to see Claudia, Johnny wonders outloud if he could be the shooter, based on the innuendos he was dropping to Claudia.
Claudia actually calls Jerry and asks him to take out Devlin--and Jerry meets up with him in one of the GH showers, carrying a piece. This has to be good....
On to Lulu and Maxie. Crimson magazine has moved into its new offices, but the cat fight between Kate Howard's assistants is still on--and now Lulu is jealous over Johnny's interest in Maxie!
And speaking of catfights, Diane goes to see Kate in her new space and of course is interested in the shoe samples. But Alexis also sticks her head in the office door and we're off to the races! Kate just rolls her eyes over the site of the lady lawyers fighting over Jimmy Choos, et al!
While we're on the subject of Diane, Max did tell Sonny at the warehouse about his night with her--but Sonny has other things to worry about, which he told him.
Finally, Anthony Zacharra. Ric goes to see him, telling him that he has been made a ward of the court, which cuts off all access for Claudia and Johnny, and he is scheduled for a competency hearing. He's also been transferred to Shadybrook.
Anthony's got a surprise for Ric, however. He throws off his blankets and shows him that he's regained movement from the neck to the waist--and he's not as crazy as people would want to think. He also adds that if Ric can get him freed, that he will make it worth his while.
That was everything that happened--so can't wait for Monday!
