Nikolas tells Nadine that he remembers who killed Emily. It was Diego Alcazar. He informs her that Diego is supposed to have been killed, but apparently he survived. Nikolas fears no one will believe him because of his brain tumor.
Lulu confronts Spinelli and Maxie at the coffee shop accusing them of being responsible for her attack on Logan. Maxie reminds her that Lulu must have had her own doubts about Logan or she would have believed in him like Maxie believed in Coop. The two get into a cat fight and Jason has to break it up.
Nikolas and Nadine arrive and inform Jason that Diego Alcazar is the person who killed Emily. Jason calls Max and tells him to drop what he’s doing and go to Sam’s apartment. When Max arrives in the parking garage he sees a masked Diego by a car with an unconscious Elizabeth inside. The two men exchange gunfire, but Diego escapes by running Max over with the car. Max then calls Jason and tells him what happened.
Sonny is surprised to see his father in Kate’s hospital room. Mike tells him that he had to hear the word from the street about Michael’s disappearance. He also tells him that he had to hear through the grapevine that Sonny was in love with Kate and had even proposed to her. He tells his son that he understands why he distances himself from him, but he gives him some sage advice about forgiveness. Mike recalls one Easter when he went to Bensonhurst to visit Sonny and his mother. Neither were home, but he saw Sonny on the street with a young lady dressed all in yellow wearing a big yellow hat. She and Sonny looked like they were having so much fun, he didn’t introduce himself because he didn’t want to ruin it. But he said he wanted to see his son smile like that one more time. After Mike left, Kate and Sonny recalled that Easter when Kate wore a yellow outfit to please her mother and the awful hat because her cousin thought it was fashionable. Sonny asks Kate if she still wants to try to have a relationship with him.
Speaking of Michael, he breaks into the home of a old woman who totes a gun. She knows he's running away and is curious as to why. He only tells her that he did a very bad thing. She insists that he stay with her hoping to find out more about his situation.
Jason, Nikolas, and Nadine arrive in the parking garage of Sam’s apartment complex. Max says that he saw Elizabeth, but not Sam. Jason rushes up to Sam’s apartment, concerned that Diego may have killed her.
Elizabeth wakes up and finds that she’s handcuffed to the rear door of Diego’s car. With her free hand, she pulls off his mask and is shocked to find out who the killer really is. She asks him why he killed Emily when she did nothing to him. He replies that she was Jason’s sister and that Emily had to pay for what Jason did to his father. Elizabeth attacks Diego who loses control of the car. The car goes through the guard rail on a bridge and stops with the front half hanging over the rushing water.
Ian informs Kelly that some of her patients may have received counterfeit drugs which could result in stillbirths. Kelly is concerned because she has a patient, who is about to deliver, but whose condition is critical. This patient is the wife of the man who threatened to blow up General Hospital if she didn’t receive treatment. Kelly, Ian, Patrick and Robin try to save the lives of Joe Smith’s wife and baby girl.
Lulu arrives at the Zacchara mansion looking for Johnny who has been detained in an abandoned psychiatric center by Sonny. Instead she encounters Claudia Zacchara, the other woman in Johnny’s life.
