General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 27-Feb-2008

Recap for General Hospital 02/27/2008

So we start off with Jason running into Sonny’s office looking for Max; Max isn’t there but Claudia is. Naughty naughty sitting in Sonny’s chair!! Also dissing the coffee is probably not a great idea either.

Kate wakes up and asks Sonny why he’s been there all night when he had business, and he tells her it’s being handled as we see Trevor thrown into a room by 2 guys and then Johnny thrown into a different room by Max (so that’s where he is) and Max’s brother whose name escapes me at the moment. Poor Johnny has no shoes on, that can’t be good, didn’t you ever see Die Hard?

Lulu’s at the hospital wanting to talk to Elizabeth about Johnny ditching her for their date when Scotty comes over and threatens to have Lulu arrested for attempted murder on Logan. Off Lulu’s horrified look we transition to Diego, AKA The Text Message Killer, AKA DEAD Diego. Diego graciously brings breakfast, for himself. No point in feeding Sam since she’s going to be DEAD Sam soon.

Diego thinks it’s awesome that he can get coffee and no one knows he’s the TMK. Sam gives the whole, “You’ll never get away with it,” speech which every decent villain is programmed to ignore. Then we see Diego taking one of the mystery pills Maxie had found earlier and learn that he takes them for liver damage from the gun shot Sam gave him. Didn’t Dr. Ian day that those hadn’t been approved for use in America? I’m thinking if turning into a serial killer is one of the side effects that’s probably a good move. Anyway…Diego and Sam trade barbs; Diego explains how all his victims or attempted victims deserved what they had coming and Sam thinks Lorenzo had it coming too. Diego responds by putting a bomb on Sam’s lap.

Back in Kate’s room. Kate is relaying her meeting with Claudia, not remembering much when Dr. Leo enters and Sonny leaves assuring Kate that the crazy lady won’t bother her again…which leads us back to Sonny’s office where said crazy lady is chatting up Jason who seems a bit distracted. He wants to know what she knows about Kate being shot and Michael being missing, she says nothing, he doesn’t believe her. Then she asks what he wanted to be when he grew up which leads to the whole “I don’t remember my childhood because of an accident” thing which Claudia thinks is great since they are both damaged goods. Jason apparently doesn’t think it’s great and just wants to know what she wants. She wants to know how Sonny would react if she offered a truce, Jason doesn’t think Sonny would go for it, then she asks what JASON would think…Well lets ask Johnny who is trying unsuccessfully to break out of his room.

Which brings us back to the hospital where Scotty is REAMING the hell out of Lulu, and is also drunk I think. He starts to really get in her face when Dr. Ian saves the day by grabbing Scotty and telling him to back off, then Lucky comes and takes Scotty away. Oh and Scotty hates the Spencers, just so we’re clear. Dr. Ian suggests Liz take a break and take care of Lulu but first he needs some contact numbers of patients who’ve left that he’s concerned about, like Nicolas…who we see lying unconscious in alley or something. Luckily Nurse Nadine is jogging by. That’s good. Nicolas doesn’t remember what happen, just that he left the hospital and he has to get to Wyndemere, so Nadine helps him.

Back at GH Cassius comes into Epiphany’s room as she’s trying to leave, when he lays it on her: his mother died of a heart attack less than a year ago. They were evacuates of Hurricane Katrina. His mother never really dealt with what happened, she just wanted to help people and kept pushing on…until she collapsed. Cassius sees the same pain in Epiphany’s eyes, and wants her to appreciate life, she is a survivor. Dr. Leo comes in and wants to take Epiphany on a little detour. To where?? Kelly’s!! Where we have a bunch of women and Mike talking about the Go Red Organization, sponsored by Campbell’s soup, which raises awareness about heart disease in women. Among the group is Monica, Bobbie and Maxie all dressed in Red! Bobbie is assuring Maxie that if she doesn’t feel up to the event it’s okay to go. Spinelli enters and he and Maxie have an exchange about their TMK investigation and decide to give it one more try since they have 12 hours until they need to turn their evidence over to Mac.

And there he is, Diego. Sam wonders why Coop had to die. Apparently Coop was getting close to figuring it out. Then he fondly reminisces about the Black and White Ball and killing Emily to make Jason suffer…and Carly is gonna know that she’s dying because of Sonny. Oh and he’s also going to blow up Lorenzo’s warehouses that everyone wants.

Nicholas and Nadine end up at Wyndemere and Nicolas enters the ballroom, asking Nadine to wait outside. He walks in, and there’s Emily…

Maxie and Spinelli end up at the coffee shop and go over what they know…

Jason doesn’t want what Claudia’s selling…figuratively and literally, no drugs in Port Charles. Then Claudia offers up Trevor…now that’s intriguing, Sonny might go for that if Claudia can make it happen, which she’s working on, but before she leaves she wants to know one thing…

And back to Maxie and Spinelli. Maxie is going to use the back of the wrapping paper from her Valentine’s Day gift from Coop to take notes on when she notices something written on it already: “TMK-DRN17”. What does it all mean??

Sam gets loose from being tied up in the chair but can’t get out of the room. She spies an air vent…

Claudia wants to know where Johnny is. Jason doesn’t know where he is. Claudia believes him kind of, and Jason says “maybe” Sonny has him, Claudia goes into another rant about Jason being logical and Sonny being all passion and overreacting and gets all hot and bothered and then irritated that it’s all wasted on Kate. Who is Jason wasted on she wonders? No one according to Jason. Claudia figures the only reason Johnny hasn’t been put down yet is because of Jason, which he confirms. They discuss how Johnny still has a chance to walk away from this whole thing…Claudia wants Jason so convince Sonny to let Johnny go, Jason says Sonny doesn’t take orders but Claudia really doesn’t care, she gives him 20 minutes to get Johnny out or all bets are off. Well that can’t be good. She’s a bit scary.

Sonny visits Johnny who is apparently being held in an abandoned psychiatric clinic, and what’s more, he’s in the padded room. AND Johnny seems a bit claustrophobic. Also this place is up in the mountains where it’s cold and there’s rough terrain…which explains the no shoes (and tank top WHY NOT SHIRTLESS?!? Give a girl something!) since even if he got out he couldn’t get far. Oh, Sonny’s son is missing. Johnny doesn’t know where he is, and that’s what Trevor said. Sonny told Trevor that if he doesn’t get Michael back, Trevor won’t get Johnny back. But MAYBE Trevor doesn’t want Johnny back. Are we supposed to be surprised by that?

At GH Lulu is explaining to Lucky that since he hates Johnny he can’t give her advice. Lucky says he does understand that you can’t help who you love. He recounts his relationships with Liz and Sam. He’s not sure if he’s over Sam, and he won’t know until the TMK and hit and run driver are caught. So back to Lulu’s love life, Lucky wants Lulu to take her time trying to decide between Johnny and Logan, so she doesn’t let her guilt over what happened to Logan cloud her judgment.

Liz gives Dr. Ian Nicolas and Sam’s information. They discuss Sam, Liz not liking her, and him wanting to fix an old scar she has.

Sam is climbing around the air ducts. She’s pretty little so it works. Diego is planting explosives like a good psycho.

Back at Kelly’s Monica is giving a pep talk about to “Go Red” Campaign. She is telling the table of survivors that they are the inspiration for the movement. The women go around the table and introduce themselves. We have Debbie who is 49 and had a heart attack last year. Molly is 29 and she had patent ductus arterios. Suzanne is “ageless” and she had aortic graft repair and mitral valve repair. Then we have Maria, when she was 38 and 3 months after she gave birth to her daughter she had a series of heart attacks. Next is Evin and she is an RN with Heart Disease. Then Epiphany enters and Suzanne welcomes her to the group, but Epiphany’s not having it and walks out. Cassius, Leo and Monica follow her; she wants to go be useful not join a club. Monica tells her that “Go Red” isn’t a club, it’s a movement. Leo stresses that anyone who is a part of it helps to save lives. Monica continues that it is a wake up call to women to end an epidemic, and Epiphany being a part of will only help the cause since people look up to her, and that she and Monica survived breast cancer because they are strong. Cassius encourages her to go in there and show them how strong she is.

Jason calls Sonny and tells him about Claudia’s deal. Sonny pretty much just wants Michael back and thinks Jason’s going soft; also he’s not telling Jason where Johnny is and by the way, focus on finding Michael and whoever shot Kate. If they only knew that was actually just one job and not two they wouldn’t be having this little spat. Jason says he’s working on all those things AND trying to figure out who killed Emily, so back off! They hang up and Claudia comes back in and disses the coffee and Kate some more and sees that Jason didn’t make any progress with Sonny…so maybe Kate should find out that she knows Sonny, who know, biblically.

Back in the air vent, Sam wanders around and ends up back where she started. Oh. Diego planned that and arranged the vents that way. He ties her up because they are going on a trip! Probably not the fun kind that involves playing road games and ending up someplace fun like Disneyland.

In the ballroom Nicolas and Emily are trying to remember what happened. Nicolas was trying to get Emily to leave when someone came up, smacked Nicolas, and started choking Emily…back in the present Emily starts choking and collapses.

Epiphany comes back into Kelly’s, she wants to be more than a survivor, she wants to be a teacher. Yay!!

Trevor was the last person to see Kate AND he was mean to her. Trevor doesn’t know anything, which gets him tossed to the ground. Michael’s missing. Trevor doesn’t know anything about that either. Trevor says when he gets out the police will come after Sonny, which doesn’t really seem to bother Sonny, since no one said Trevor was getting out.

Johnny rips through the padded wall (still not shirtless) and screams out the window.

Jason is trying to negotiate with Claudia, who doesn’t care and walks out past Maxie and Spinelli who are trying to determine what the writing Coop left means when Lulu comes in and knocks over the table having the opinion that they’ve done enough already.

Nicolas is holding Emily, not wanting to let her go as she encourages him to see the rest, we flash to him seeing Emily’s murder…he sees the man wearing a mask…Emily takes it off, and they both see Diego!! Who is in Sam’s apartment packing up her stuff to make it look like she left town. He leaves her phone behind which seems silly coming from the TMK, but he gets ready to leave when he opens the door and there stands….Elizabeth! Crap.
