General Hospital Update for Friday, 1-Feb-2008

February sweeps have started in Port Charles--and while some things are new, it seems like somethings never change.
The chemistry between Maurice Bernard and Sarah Brown still sizzles on screen--and who cares that she's playing a totally different character now! Monica and Tracy will never be best buds, which is also par for the course.
On the flip side, Sam's fighting off the Text Message Killer (yes, he's baack), Kate comes clean to Jacks about her past, Patrick is trying to process possibly being a father and Liz and Jason fight to be together.
We start off with Sonny, on the rebound from Kate. This doesn't stop him from having a one-night stand with a sexy woman he met at a local hotel bar.
Let's just say that no names were exchanged in the heat of the moment, and he didn't realize he had just gotten busy with none other than Claudia Zacharria, Anthony's daughter. And all I can say is, welcome back, Sarah Brown!
I have to say that her new hair color kind of threw me off, but it was fun seeing them again.
Now Tracy and Monica. As we know, Tracy is suing Monica for malpractice for botching Luke's bypass surgery--and Monica threw her out of the mansion as a result. Tracy has upped the ante by going to Dr. Ford and getting Monica suspended! Take that!!
Monica is not dealing with stress too well these days and is turning more and more to the bottle--and sadly, is now drinking behind the wheel. And it's scary to see where this one is going!!
And the Text Message Killer is very much alive--and is going after Sam! Sam isn't taking it lying down either; getting into a whale of a battle with him on the docks.
She went to the docks to think after having her big break-up fight with Lucky, when she got a text from the killer.
Sam immediately called Lucky, who blew her off--after which she saw the killer and they were off to the races.
On to Kate. She finally opens up to Jacks about her past and now he knows everything about Kate/Connie Falconeri. They take shelter from the rain at his house, where Sonny shows up--just in time to see Jacks and Kate in bathrobes!
The only other events of note that happened today were that Liz signed out of GH against medical advice to be with Jason, and Patrick is starting to think that he just might be the father of Robin's baby. Almost forgot--Michael has gotten himself a gun, and this can't be good for the future.
