General Hospital Update for Friday, 25-Jan-2008

And we are close to discovering the identity of the Text Message Killer! Coop is dealing with Logan discovering the DNA report in his room, Lulu is running interference for Johnny and Logan is becoming increasing jealous of her deepening feelings for him. On the flip side, Kate is suddenly back in Sonny's life, Jason calls Carly on her meddling (about time!) and new characters are coming to Port Charles.
We start off with Coop and Logan. Logan has discovered a copy of the PCPD's DNA report from Georgie's murder scene, naming Coop as a match, hidden in Coop's room at Kelly's. After he confronts Coop, Coop is able to convince him of his innocence--and tells Logan that he's planning on getting away with Maxie later that day.
Things are back to normal at Kelly's, or so we think, until Maxie goes up to his room and screams suddenly! We still don't see what she found, but I'm sure we'll find out on Monday.
On to Lulu, who has hidden Johnny on the Haunted Star. Johnny has discovered the piano and is playing away, while Lulu finds Logan outside of Kelly's and asks if he hasn't busted Johnny to Scott. Logan assures her that he didn't, adding that that would be the one sure way to lose her, which he didn't want to do.
On to Kate, who shows up at the Coffeehouse, just in time to walk in on Carly's grilling of Jason.
Carly turns her attention to Kate, demanding to know where Sonny is---flipping out when she finds out that he was last seen in Bensonhurst!
She gets Kate riled enough where she almost spills the beans about their prior relationship--but does manage to let slip that Sonny did pop the question.
You can tell that Carly isn't having any of it, and demands to see the ring--and of course, there isn't one.
Kate walks out, and then Jason tells Carly that he was glad that she had her nose in Sonny's business, because it would distract her from Jake and Liz! Ya think??
Back to GH, where a new doctor, a Dr. Devlin, has shown up and is asking the nursing staff to give him tours of the place. As they are wiping the drool of their scrubs, it turns out that Devlin is an old friend of Patrick Drake and they have a reunion at the nurses' station.
A new female character is also hinted at--and I think maybe this might be Sarah Brown's new role? We'll have to wait till Monday!
