General Hospital Update for Friday, 18-Jan-2008

And we're getting ready for February Sweeps! Or so it seems! Robin gets the news she's been waiting for, Sonny does something he wanted to do a long time ago, Leyla loves 'em and leaves 'em and Lulu, Spinelli, Logan and Johnny are in another fine mess. And let's not forget Nicholas being on the verge of finally getting some help for his medical issues.
We start with Robin, and her quest for her baby's daddy. As we know, she has finally decided to just go for it and tells Kelly to get the ball rolling for in-vitro fertilization.
Blood work is taken and things are moving along--but we don't know if she's chosen a daddy from the sperm bank yet.
The bloodwork comes back, and Kelly rocks Robin's world when she tells her that the rabbit died, the bun is in the oven, SHE'S PREGNANT!!! The only problem is that we don't know who the baby's daddy is--and maybe it could be Patrick, who knows??
And speaking of Patrick, he's the victim of a one-night stand, courtesy of Leyla. She seduces young Dr. Drake at GH and they get down and dirty.
Afterwards, she gets dressed and leaves, after telling him that the sex was great, but it meant nothing to her! Oooh that hurt...
Leyla celebrates this little victory with Nadine at Jake's--where she was last seen dancing on tables, if we remember.
On to Nicholas, who has checked himself into GH, AGAIN. Still seeing Emily at every corner, Nick is waiting for the results of his tests that are being run by Patrick.
Patrick gives him some conclusive news, letting him know that they are closer to figuring out his diagnosis. He asks Nick if he sees things that shouldn't be there--bingo, Emily!!
Moving over to Bensonhurst, where Sonny and Kate are still having their reunion tour.
They've had dinner at Fortunato's, saw a movie at their old theatre and are now in the place where Sonny waited for Kate to run away with her back in the day.
Throughout the day, we've seen Sonny holding a ring box in his hand away from Kate, and now he gets on one knee in the snow in front of her, telling Kate he's about to do something he should have done a long time ago. And we know what that is, right?
Finally, Lulu and her latest sticky wicket. She's still held captive in the monastery, but Johnny, Logan and Spinelli have figured out where she is and are trying to bust her out.
Spinelli gets into the monastery dressed as a monk and discovers that Lulu has broken out of her cell and into the catacombs.
He doesn't realize that she's already run into Johnny in the catacombs, who has fallen on a bayonet and is losing blood. (Nice one, right?) They get close to making love, but Johnny decides it's not the right time for it.
They try to make their way out, but escape right back into the monastery! They're all captives now, along with Logan. And we'll have to wait till Monday to see what happens!
