Happy New Year! Here's hoping that 2008 is a really great year for everyone in the SoapZone! Now before we start, I have to tell you that I did miss parts of today's show, due to news reports over the monster storms in my area. How dare they break into GH, right?
Anyway...today Epihphany is grieving over the death of her son Stan, Luke is literally playing with death and it's clear that Jerry is also crime boss Mr. Moreau. Did I forget that Alexis and Diane have found out that they're both up for the same Litigator of the Year award? The claws are definately out!
We start off with Ephiphany, who was on the phone with Stan when he suffered his fatal traffic accident. And if that wasn't bad enough, it's clear that the accident was no accident. It was clearly arranged, but the question Stan's grieving mother has is: who arranged it?
Ephiphany goes to see Jason at the Coffeehouse, and asks him to find out for her and do whatever needs to be done.
Jason promises to do it, but tells Liz later at GH that Epiphany isn't going to like what he finds out.
This is where Jerry comes in. Speaking as Mr. Moreau, he orders the hit on Stan and gets a confirmation call when he's dead. He also calls Trevor while using his cheesy French accent and Johnny butts into the conversation. A mob war is definately brewing, and it's not going to be pretty.
Now Alexis and Diane and their cat fight dujour. Both attorneys have been nominated for the Litigator of the Year award by the Women's Attorney Association--and naturally they both descend on Kate to get a dress that will knock everyone's eyes out.
Their acceptance speeches have been written and both make the flight--and find out at the last minute that their chief rival has also been nominated--as they (and their Kate Howard dresses) are sitting right next to each other on the plane!
Turning to Luke, it seems that his latest brush with death hasn't scared him any. He pulls off his oxygen canula and pulls out another stogie. (And if he doesn't set GH on fire, he'll be lucky!!) Right before he does the deed, he hears Lulu in the hall and tosses the stogie in a vase of flowers.
Finally, it seems that more evidence has been discovered in the Text Message Murders case--but those news reports I was talking about broke into it. So we are going to have to wait till Monday!
Happy New Year again and to my fellow Californians, stay dry!
