General Hospital Update for Friday, 7-Dec-2007

Christmas is coming in Port Charles! Holiday decorations are up all over GH, but Luke and Tracy are in no mood to enjoy them. Did I add that Kate is striking a blow for women's independence with the help of Alexis and Maxie is getting more than she bargained for? Yep, it was mostly about the women today!
We start off with Luke--whose own blow for independence almost came crashing down in flames. After he snuck out of GH and went on a wild drinking binge, he ran into Lulu and Johnny talking in the snow.
One thing led to another, and Luke collapsed with yet another coronary. Johnny and Lulu didn't wait, and got him to GH without calling an ambulance.
And a good thing they did too, because according to Dr. Julian (whose pager went off while he was at Jake's!!), that might have saved his life!
Tracy is standing by her man, which convinces him to cave in and have the bypass that he needs. I'd like to think that Bobbie also had something to do with it, as she told him that she couldn't deal with losing him.
Skye also pays Luke a visit, which gets Tracy's hackles up in a big way--and Monica decides to scrub in on Luke's surgery. So as we can see, this scoundrel has a harem of women interested in whether he lives or dies!
On to Kate--who's sick of Sonny's guards on her property and decides as Alexis puts it to "set some boundries".
She retains Alexis as her lawyer and promptly files suit against Sonny for three inches of his stone wall coming on to her property.
Sonny can't believe it and calls Diane Miller (whom he has on speed dial, I'm sure) and files a counter suit, and the race is on, if you get my drift. Diane is aghast, and is even more stunned when she sees Alexis wearing a pair of designer orginal shoes that SHE was hoping to get from Kate!! Oh well!!
Now, Maxie. She heads over to the PCPD to give her statement to Detective Harper over what happened on Spoon Island the night of the Black and White Ball and runs into Coop--who tells her to say as little as possible.
Of course, Maxie sticks her foot into her mouth with Harper, who determines from what she tells him that Coop has absolutely no alibi for that night. AND I forgot to mention that Georgie actually got a strange text message that morning asking if she had seen her sister...sounds like the killer is still out there.
Maxie comes home to change clothes before going to work at the boutique--and runs into an intruder there, who tries to strangle her! Yep, the killer is DEFINATELY back in town....
