General Hospital Update for Thursday, 15-Nov-2007

It's never pretty when a major character is killed off and today was no exception.
The unfortunate party-goers at Windemere had to deal with Emily's murder today, on top of all the other heart-ache they've had to endure during the Black and White ball.
Remember, in the short time everyone's been on the island, they've had to deal with Leyla's being shot by Zacarra, Ric being stabbed and pinned against a wall, Luke's heart attack and Alexis' appendix flaring up. What next?
We start with Nicholas waking up on the ballroom floor--a scene that has started several episodes lately--next to the body of a woman. Sadly, we now see that the body of the dead woman next to him is Emily!
Nicholas screams and grabs his dead fiance, trying to give her mouth-to-mouth. Nothing works.
His screams send other people into the ballroom to help him. Jason is first and grieving, runs into the barn to break the news to Liz.
He asks Liz to help find a sedative somewhere in the stables to give to Nicholas, so Emily can be tended to. Liz tracks down a horse tranquilizer (which is the only thing that will help while Nick is blacking out!) and goes to the ballroom with Jason.
Liz finds Nick still holding Emily and Nick refuses to believe she's dead, which is why he won't let her go. Liz and Jason distract him, allowing Liz to give him the sedative.
Meanwhile, the news is getting out. Carly and Jacks come on the scene and Carly is trying to be there for Jason.
Sonny also finds out and he's devastated. He asks Nick how he got the bruise on his face and wants to know if Anthony Zacarra is somehow behind Emily's murder. Nick is snapping back and forth between blackouts and is absolutely no help at all at this point--even asking if Zacarra is in his house!
Not much other news to report today, but the rest of it still concerns a Zacarra! Jerry gets himself into a gun battle with Anthony and runs out of ammo (of course!!). He reopens an old gunshot wound in the process and passes out while he's supposed to be watching Kate for Sonny.
And while he was supposed to be doing that, Anthony grabs Kate! Great job, Jerry, NOT!!
Also forgot to mention that Carly and Jacks find a device in the ballroom that allows cell phone users to piggy-back onto another phone, leading Carly to realize that Leticia's killer is on the island!
Lulu also decides that she can trust Logan AND Johnny, so this should make for an interesting triangle in the future, should everyone actually get off this island in the future. In the meantime, stay tuned!
