General Hospital Update for Thursday, 1-Nov-2007

We're at the Black and White Ball as the curtain rises, and did it ever give the partygoers more bang for their buck!
As we get started, Liz and Sam are in the middle of a cat fight, Robin is trying to ignore Patrick, and especially Layla, his date, Luke is trying to get Lulu away from Logan and Kate is waiting for Sonny to show up. And I almost forgot: Nick has just popped the question to Emily! Almost forgot: Jerry has wormed his way in to the ball, which is creeping everyone out, and of course he's with Alexis, which is creeping Ric out... Actually, it's just another typical Port Charles party!
On to business. Liz and Sam are going at it over Lucky, Jason, the Red Sox (just had to put that one in, lol...) when things are broken up by Lucky and Nick.
Nick takes Sam's side and Emily of course is on Liz's, when Nick proceeds to tear into her pretty harshly. And of course, he's blacking out, and doesn't remember doing any of it. Even so, it still is hurtful for Em. He apologizes to everyone and they all try and move on.
It looks like Robin has arrived stag and can't help stealing glances over at Patrick and Layla, so much so that Maxie and Georgie steal her away to tell her that the "losers" have to stick together. (I guess Robin's one of the only dateless losers, as Georgie came with Coop and I can't figure out who Maxie is with).
Maxie's claws come out of course, and she grabs Leyla, pulling off her strand of pearls around her neck, announcing "That's for Robin", as she stalks away...
Meanwhile, there's an undercurrent of terror lurking under the surface--and it's name is Zacarra. Johnny has also crashed the party by stealing Scott's invitation, and Anthony has snuck onto the island.
Anthony is still hidden away, but looks like he's planting explosives around Windemere. His motive is to kill Lulu for being with Johnny. Johnny knows this and is trying to get Lulu off the island before anything happens.
Carly is also trying to meet with Leticia's killer at the ball, and has even brought a gun to help her. She's still sending text messages to the killer and is hiding them from Jacks. She sets up a meeting with the killer in the study.
Now here's the kicker: Coop also gets a text message and goes to the study. There's no way that he could be the killer, no way--but when Alexis goes in there next, she screams!!!!!!!! Boy, I hope they didn't kill off Coop.....
