General Hospital Update for Friday, 28-Sep-2007

September's over in Port Charles and Halloween is around the corner: and a brand new threat is brewing in the form of the Zacarra family coming to town. To keep on the same sad note, Lucky and Liz are prepared to formally end their marriage and Kate's been fired from Couture Magazine, courtesy of Trevor. And did I say that Nicholas' anger issues are becoming serious?
We start off with Lucky and Liz. As we all know, Liz and the boys have moved out of their home and are living with Audrey (AGAIN!!).
Good luck is on the horizon, because Liz, with Emily's help, has been able to rent a completely furnished house that just came on the market. Naturally, she wants to move in as soon as possible.
Diane has drawn up the divorce papers and drops by the PCPD to give them to Lucky, who for the first time has some common sense and decides to have Alexis read them over to see if his rights are protected.
Turns out they're not (surprise!!), so Alexis decides to draw up a completely new set! This doesn't make Diane a happy camper at all and she tells Alexis that she'll "barbeque Lucky in court!" Sounds like the gloves are going to be off in this one!
On to Kate. She's thrilled that she got sentenced to 6 months of community service at GH (sure beats the slammer, right?) and tells everyone that she's even OK with wearing an ankle monitor.
She's putting a brave face on it and heads off for her first day at GH with a smile on her face, expecting to be in PR in the corner office.
Epiphany, naturally, is the one that bursts her bubble--having her get into scrubs and act as an orderly.
As Kate is holding herself up at the Metrocourt desk getting her messages after her tough day, Trevor tells her to forget a leave of absence--she's been dumped by Couture for violating the morals clause in her contract! Things are going from bad to worse for the divine Ms Howard!
We move to Nicholas and his mounting issues. As we know, he's already taken a swing at Jerry and has thrown a wine glass at Alexis. Now he's hauled off and slugged Logan at the Metrocourt!
Logan approached him at the hotel to apologize for hurting Lulu when Nick went off. And who do you think helped pick up Logan but Scotty!!
First Logan (and everyone else) thought it was because the DNA test results were back, which Scotty denied; saying he did it because he was a nice guy who had gotten into messes himself. So in other words, he still doesn't like Logan...
What was scary was when Nick was back at Windemere and told Alfred that he didn't remember anything about the fight--and I don't think he was lying.
Finally on to the biggest threat of the day: the arrival of the Zacarra family in Port Charles. And Lulu already has a connection with Johnny Zacarra, Anthony's son, as they have been texting.
Of course, Carly is going to get in on it, as she was able to swipe Johnny's number from Lulu's phone when she went over to Jason's penthouse to try and get her to move out. She sent a text, which Johnny did respond to.
Spinelli is trying to track Johnny's movements on the web, and has figured out that he hacked into Mike's phone to cover up his phone number as he texted. So this one is going to heat up in October--stand by!
