General Hospital Update for Monday, 27-Aug-2007

More loose ties being taken care of on this Monday! Carly and Jacks are heading back to Port Charles, and at the end of today's doings, Ric meets his Dad, and Jason confronts Sam.
We start off in Turkey, where things are rapidly coming to a head with Jerry and Irina. Jerry is still pointing a gun at Carly and is telling Irina that he's always loved her and that part of himself died when he thought she died, etc. Naturally, she buys it and starts kissing him, when surprise! Jerry shoots her dead! And was Sebastian Roche brilliant in this scene or what??
Jacks now knows fully what type of man his brother is and tells Jerry that he wants no part of him, whatsoever. He and Carly leave, leaving Jerry to dispose of Irina's body. He tells her goodbye when she's in the body bag, zips it up and dumps her overboard.
Sebastian Roche, Jerry's portrayer, imho, has the potential to be one of the greatest villians GH has ever had--and gave us Emmy-worthy material in this one segment. Great job!
Meanwhile, Carly and Jacks are on their private jet heading back to Port C and Carly is blathering on as usual. More of the same tomorrow, I'm sure.
On to Trevor Lansing, and his sleazy son, Ric. Trevor meets up with Sonny and tells him that the only reason he's in town is to help Kate with her trial for reckless driving--and no, he's not doing business for Anthony Zacara, the New York City mob boss, has never heard of the man, yada yada yada...
Now during this one meeting, it comes out that Trevor was married to Sonny's mother Adela for a short time and was around when Sonny pushed her down the stairs, which Sonny had a flashback of.
Afterwards, Trevor goes to see Kate in her hotel room and asks her point-blank if she's involved with Sonny, adding that Sonny's always been psychotic and Ric has always been bitter and angry.
He's sitting in the Metrocourt bar when Ric finally meets up with him, which should make tomorrow interesting to say the least!
Meanwhile at the Metrocourt, Lucky and Sam run into Amelia. Being that Lucky is Sam's new bodyguard, he takes the chance to ask Amelia about security at the studio for the star of Everyday Heroes; also asking if she had anything to do with the attack in the park, as it would make good ratings for the show.
Amelia is pretty convincing, saying that although she hates Sam, she realizes that the show ratings are through the roof and that they both need each other--so she would do nothing to jeopardize that.
But Sam needs more than a bodyguard when she comes back to her apartment and sees Jason sitting there, who says quietly "We need to talk..." Hoo boy!!!!!!! Scary!!!!!!
