General Hospital Update for Friday, 17-Aug-2007

Welcome to the dog days of summer--and can you see the action start to heat up in Port Charles?? Lots of things under the surface, here...
We start off with Sonny and Diane, who are having a celebration at the Coffeehouse, to toast Jason's freedom.
Kate walks in, and announces that she's just got to jet off to to Paris to see the Fall collection. Diane tries to put the brakes on this, telling her that since she's been released into Sonny's custody by the PCPD, nothing's going to stop Mac Scorpio from getting on a jet and hauling her sorry butt back to PC. Would serve her right, right?
Kate plays hardball, dangling a free trip to Paris in front of Diane, telling her she can meet Donatella, Stella and whomever.. Sonny brings Diane back to her senses and puts the kibosh on it.
Meanwhile, Lucky is back playing a role he knows too well--that of the scorned husband. He goes over to Jason's apartment and tells him to "stay away from my family and my kids"--this was just after Jason was checking the box where he keeps his gun, lol.
After he comes back home (after spending the night at the PCPD, btw), he runs into Sam, who's conveniently standing on his doorstep. One thing leads to another, and THEY almost kiss!! (I know this one is going to lead to them falling into bed!!)
Liz, on the other hand, is working at GH and is crying to Emily that she thinks her marriage to Lucky is over, which would clear the way for her to be with Stonecold and live happily ever after, right?
Even Spinelli gets in on the act, telling Jason that the Penthouse has lots of room for Liz to move in with both boys! Not gonna happen, says Jason!
Finally, Carly and her adventures with the Jacks boys. Naturally, she finds her way to Turkey, where she tracks down Jerry, with the help of a Turkish customs official. And of course, when she lets herself into Jerry's hotel room, he pulls a gun on her. Shades of old times, right?
Jerry has found out that Irina is still alive and has confirmed that Jacks is indeed on her ship--but doesn't know that he's being held prisoner. Irina also knows that he's on her trail--so this one should play out next week! Stay tuned!
