General Hospital Update for Friday, 27-Jul-2007

Jason is transferred to Port Charles for his trial in the murder of Lorenzo Alcazar--and of course, it's not without a few minute complications.
When he arrives at the PCPD, there's a welcoming committee waiting--and it's not the kind bringing brownies. Paid snipers with Venezulean id's (surprised, anyone)start shooting the moment they see Jason, Amelia and his guards.
Naturally, Jason saves the day and everyone with him, with the exception of one police guard from Pentonville Prison--AND he does it shackled to boot! Is there anything he can't do???
Since Amelia is there with her camera crew, the shooting goes out live over TV. Sam and Liz stop their latest bitch fight du jour at the Everyday Heroes set to watch, and Maxie even weighs in with a few comments. She's there making a clothes delivery from the Metrocourt Boutique to the EH set.
As soon as the bullets stop flying, the posturing by the lawyers starts. Diane immediately tries to get a motion passed to change the venue of the trial, which was denied, and Ric tells anyone who would listen that this proves that Jason is just a trained killer who deserves to be put away for life. And Alexis even jumps in, telling Ric that she's also filing a motion asking that Sam be removed from his witness list! And is she shocked later when Sam tells her that she doesn't need to--she's prepared to testify against Jason!
Mayor Floyd comes on the scene when it's safe, telling Ric that he better get a win in this case so he can still be the Law and Order Mayor, or it's his you-know-what on the line.
Carly is at the police station when this is all happening, of course. She barges into Jerry's room at the Metrocourt, and almost loses it when HE pulls a gun on her. She confronts him by saying that she thinks he had something to do with the shootout, which he denies.
The other big story today was Anna and Noah and their developing atttraction. Actually it was all about Robin and Patrick's reaction to it. Talk about the kids freaking out over their parents getting frisky, or what!!! They need to deal with it and move on, imho...
Noah is obviously enjoying his private Eli Love lessons with Anna, which is freaking out the kids! Can't wait to see where this one ends up!
