General Hospital Update for Friday, 20-Jul-2007

Just another Friday in Port Charles...Lots of stuff simmering below the surface and of course, Sam is a time bomb almost ready to explode!
We start off with ( saying for one of the last times), Sam and Jason. As we know, Sam has finally found her way to Pentonville, where she is confronting Jason about Jake--and Jason is letting her have it about witnessing his kidnapping.
Obviously, this had been building for some time, as we all know. Hurt feelings abound from both sides--and Jason says that he will turn her into the police if she goes forward and tells Lucky that Jake is Jason's son, as she threatens.
Sam is the one who finally breaks it off with Jason and she goes back to Port Charles to move out of Jason's condo.
Before she does that, she happens to walk through the park, where she sees Lucky, Liz and the kids enjoying an outing. Of course, she has to confront Liz in front of Lucky, saying "how do you deal with your wife's lies?" Ooops!!!!!
Lucky, who's really trying to clear the air here, actually fixes it with Pentonville so Liz can visit Jason anytime he wants, leading me to think that maybe Maxie is scoring pills for him again?? He winds up going over to Jason's place, where Sam is packing, and asks her about Jason's feelings for Liz--which we will have to wait to find out about.
On to Noah/Eli Love. He's agreed to do the concert as Eli, but as Anna has reminded everyone, there's the small matter of the pre-concert cocktail party at the Metrocourt. One big problem: Eli is a known boozehound and Noah is a recovering alcoholic who has a year of sobriety. How is everyone going to get around that small fact?
At the actual party, we see Kate's boss Warren James canoolding with a trophy girlfriend (ick) and Alexis is hit on by a Keith Richards wannabe at the bar, which was actually kind of cute.
Anna and Noah/Eli make a grand entrance and the toasts are flying. Finally, the moment where Noah/Eli has to take a drink arrives--and Anna makes a statement about Vodka before discreetly switching his drink for something that I hope is non-alcoholic. I mean, Anna Devane wasn't known as the best female superspy in the world for nothing, right?
Speaking of Alexis, she and Carly have united to try and get Jerry to reveal where Jacks is. Alexis creates a distraction with Jerry to give Carly time to search Jerry's room at the Metrocourt.
Carly gets into his room, and after his cellphone starts ringing, she hears voices in the hall and hides. Surprise, it's Alexis and Jerry!
After they come in the room, Carly shows herself to Alexis and the games begin. This is one storyline that we are going to have to wait till Monday to see how it plays out!
Finally, Logan and Lulu. There is an obvious attraction building here, which I think they are both trying to fight.
Lulu has finished taking care of Logan's gunshot wound and of course, they start fighting. She tries to go, he grabs her, and she smacks his injured arm, causing it to bleed again.
After she cleans it up, Lulu heads over to Kelly's, where she hooks up with Liz and convinces her to see Jason in Pentonville, which she winds up doing, bringing pictures of Jake to boot.
Logan follows her--but doesn't know that Cody, a fellow soldier from Iraq with a score to settle, is waiting for him outside. It looks like Logan, the man with an obvious past, is going to have more of it revealed--and very soon!
