Kelly gently explains to a devastated Sam that with her eggs barely viable she has virtually no chance of becoming a mother using any fertility methods available. Carly reminds Jax how his brother still holds power over him despite Jerry's physical absence from Port Charles. After spending the night at the compound, Kate again spars verbally with a taunting Sonny. Mayor Floyd warns Ric to ensure that Jason is convicted this time around. Meanwhile, Elizabeth pays another visit to Jason to update him on baby Jake's progress. Jax tells his exasperated mother why they can't give up on Jerry no matter what evil deeds he's committed. Sam admits to Amelia how angry she is that her plans have gone awry. Diane cautions Jason that Elizabeth could wind up hurting his case in court. Meanwhile, Lucky questions his wife about her repeated trips to the precinct house. Though Emily disapproves of his plan to spy on Jax and Jane, Nikolas insists that he's determined to do whatever he must to save her from Jerry. After an emotional Jason confesses that he is the father of Elizabeth's baby, Sonny urges his friend to do the right thing and claim his child.
