General Hospital Update for Friday, 8-Jun-2007

Sam's world might be crashing down around her sooner than we think, Carly does a two-for-one, getting back at Kate AND Sonny and Luke finds Laura--(with the Jackal's help!) All in all, a typical summer Friday in PC.
Things start off in Sonny's office at the Coffeehouse, where Amelia and Sonny are dressing after their latest horizontal mambo. Sonny finds Amelia's file chock-full of info on Sam, and asks her what she's doing with it.
Amelia comes clean and tells Sonny about her plan to build Sam up and have it all come crashing down. She fills him in on Sam's different aliases and her prior con schemes with men.
Sonny's still not completely convinced, and tells Amelia that she is going to need a change of plan and will not stand for her scheme to go through. Amelia also admits that she wasn't really close to her father, Bill Monroe, after all, as she only saw him once a year after her parents were divorced. Interesting....
Meanwhile, Sonny goes to see Jason at the Port Charles PD (he's still there because he was arrested for Alcazar's murder) and tells him everything. Jason definately isn't buying any of it and tells Sonny that Sam sticking with him when he was dying was definately not an act. He calls Amelia later on the Everyday Heroes set and asks to confirm this info from her. More on that Monday, I'm sure.
On to Luke. As we know, Scotty is now Laura's official guardian after winning his court case. (Ick...) Luke and Tracy are plotting to kidnap Laura and stash her somewhere safe until Alexis can win the court appeal.
Tracy comes up with the brilliant idea to ask Spinelli through Lulu to do some cyber-sleuthing and find out exactly where she is.
The Jackal is successful as usual and traces Laura to Roselawn, which I guess isn't that far from Shadybrook. Scott is on to them, however. He visits Laura and tells her that she's going to be packed and moved in a few hours. Now this sounds like a huge chess game, don't you think?
Meanwhile, Luke is planning to go on the run to kidnap Laura. I think Anthony Geary is actually taking his yearly Summer vacation now and this is a good way to write him out of the story line, right?
On to Carly and her taste in decorating...As we remember, Sonny had Jason shoot down Kate's centaur statue last week, making it crash through the roof of her house. He felt bad about it later and asked if Carly could help and buy another statue for her.
Of course Carly saw it as a way to get back at both of them and found the ugliest statue she could find! It looked like it was bigger than the house, lol...
And speaking of Kate, she was introduced to Alexis at the Metrocourt and they bonded over their mutual dislike of Carly, much to noone's surprise.
That's about it for Today. Monday should be just as hot!
