General Hospital Update for Friday, 1-Jun-2007

And summer is officially here! Lots of sizzling storylines of course, so let's get started.
Ric is zeroing in on Alcazar's killer, Sonny and Kate's relationship is heating up, Mr. Craig/Jerry is trying to cover his tracks, and Sam thinks she has found a way to become a mother.
Ric has correctly deduced that Jason is Alcazar's killer, and decides to give Lucky the honor of arresting him and bringing him in. The only problem is that Lucky doesn't want the job, saying that he's got a conflict of interest due to Jason's relationship with Liz and his family. Ric doesn't care, and tells him to do the job anyway.
Lucky meets Liz at GH, who's there to bring Jake in for a checkup. He tells her that he's got to issue an arrest warrant, but doesn't tell her who for.
They meet up again at Sonny's coffeehouse, where Lucky gets to do the deed right in front of her, since Liz had stopped in for a latte before taking Jake to the park.
On to Mr. Craig/Jerry and his lies. Carly and Jacks are dealing with the fallout at the Metrocourt, as staff is quitting right and left everytime they run into Craig at the hotel. Ric is also getting his two cents in on this one (he's a busy man, right?), calling Jacks into his office to tell him that he could be arrested for aiding and abetting his brother should the DNA tests come back a match for Craig and Jerry.
Jerry takes matters into his own hands by doing the following: threatening Skye with the one thing that could work: taking away Lila Rae, and breaking into the GH lab to switch DNA samples. We don't know if he was successful yet and will have to stay tuned for that one.
Over at Chez Corinthos, Sonny is boiling mad at Kate--who has ignored his injunction against helicopters flying over his property one time too many. She's heloing in an expensive statue for her property and Sonny decides to get back at his childhood sweetheart--by having Jason shoot it down!
Mission accomplished and Kate storms over to Sonny's property steaming. Apparently the statue was priceless--and is now in pieces at her home, after tearing holes in the roof when it fell!
Sonny now wants to make it up to her (this thing is heating up, mark my words!) and goes to Carly to see if she can buy a statue for him! This should be good...
Finally, Sam. She meets with Kelly to determine her fertility options. Things are looking good! Although she can't conceive in the typical way, as we know, Kelly tells her that IVF with a surrogate mother is a viable option.
Sam arrives on the Everyday Heroes set bursting with the good news and lets Amelia in on her secret. Amelia doesn't exactly share the joy, worrying about how a pregnancy would affect production--but Sam tells her that it wouldn't be an issue.
Should make for an interesting week next week in Port Charles. Can't wait!
