General Hospital Update for Friday, 25-May-2007

And it's Memorial Day Weekend! A Bad Day for James Craig/Jerry Jacks; Kate Howard almost gets a fist sandwich, courtesy of Carly and Jason realizes that Sam might know the truth about Baby Jake. And did I forget that Ric is trying to figure out what happened to Alcazar?
The biggest news that everyone in Port C has to come to grips with today is this: that James Craig is actually Jerry Jacks, Jacks' wayward brother.
Jacks is still trying to see some good in his older brother and is making the rounds begging for mercy for him. He winds up at Windemere pleading with Nicholas and Emily to go easy, but no deal. There is no love lost between Port C and the oldest Jacks brother.
Jacks confronts Jerry again asking why, and is saddened to learn that there's really no good reason for what Jerry has done. He is starting to realize that Jerry has to pay for his misdeeds.
Jerry summons all of the key players (Nick, Emily, Alexis and Jacks) to the Metrocourt and tries to pretend in front of the staff that he is just meeting them for the first time. When asked by Jacks why he is doing it, Jerry tells him that it's to see if the staff recognizes his voice.
They do, and pull the silent alarm to the PCPD. As Port Charles' finest come in, Jane Jacks walks in at that moment--and unfortunately gets to see her oldest arrested. Poor Lady Jane!
Meanwhile, Ric has figured out that Lorenzo is nowhere to be seen, and is hot on the trail; bugging Spinelli (Spinelli??) and Skye. Skye hasn't gotten rid of his clothes yet (maybe that's next week?) and tells Ric that nope, she hasn't seen him, can't help, sorry.
Ric isn't buying it, especially after a maid at the Alcazar home almost contradicts her! More on this one next week I'm sure--and it will be interesting to see where Jason stashed his body!
Speaking of Jason, he's starting to realize that Sam might know more than he thinks she knows about baby Jake's parentage. He walks in on Sam holding Jake at the Coffeehouse, as she's trying to convince Liz to go on Everyday Heroes.
Sam's gushing just a little too much about Jake to Liz and Jason--just enough to make Liz want to get him home for a nap, or so she says. I think she was dropping enough hints to Jason to let him know that she's on to him.
Finally, Carly, Kate and the Friday Night Fights...(well, almost!!) As we all know, Kate bought the house next to Sonny's and is having extensive remodeling work done. Well, boys will be boys and one of Morgan and Michael's toys (a helicopter) sailed over Sonny's fence and right into the middle of Kate's construction work.
Turns out this ticked off the foreman but good, and the helicopter got smashed into one of the walls--which was a big crisis at Chez Corinthos.
Kate shows up when Carly is there calming down the boys. After Kate makes some totally snotty comments about the boys, Carly sends them upstairs, telling Leticia to "put on a good, LOUD video!!"
Things start out with Carly telling Kate that she can take a shortcut by being kicked over the fence--and then Sonny shows up. And I know he will be enjoying this one when it continues on Monday!
