General Hospital Update for Friday, 11-May-2007

Bad day for Sam and Jax today!! They discover painful truths about their loved ones, Sonny and Amelia heat it up and Liz continues to recover from her emergency c-section. I also forgot to mention that the cat might soon be out of the bag re Mr. Craig's true identity.
We start off in Liz's hospital room, where Lucky is pleading with his wife to wake up soon from her emergency surgery. As we all remember, Kelly had told Lucky that if she didn't wake up soon, she might never recover--and time was running out.
Jason is aware of this painful fact as well, and has finally decided to suck it up and tell Lucky that he is the true father of Baby Stonecold. He steps into Liz's room while Lucky is there, and is just opening his mouth to blurt this out, while Liz saves herself and wakes up in the nick of time.
Liz is fully alert and Lucky can't be happier. Jason slips out, while the baby (still no name yet!!) is brought to Liz.
Liz and the baby are bonding after Lucky leaves, when she spots Jason. She starts thanking Jason for his huge sacrifice, yada yada--but doesn't know that someone else is hearing the conversation: Sam!! She's back from her trip to NYC with Amelia and now knows the truth: that Jason is the father of Liz's baby. Oh, this is not good!
Sam and Amelia have returned from their trip to promote Everyday Heroes. Sam's tense anyway, as Amelia has told her again to dump Jason. (After what she just found out, I think she might be wanting to take Amelia up on this!!)
They hit Sonny's office after their jet lands at the airport, where Sonny fills them in about Liz. Sam heads to GH, while Amelia and Sonny get down to business on his desk--but Kate barges in right when things are starting to heat up.
On to Jax and Carly. Now that Jax knows that Jerry is in Port Charles and has seen the boys, he wastes no time in filling in his new wife.
Carly's horrified--and confronts Jane with this information; demanding to know why she didn't come forward with it.
Jane explains that she wanted to protect her wayward son, and Jax asks that she call Jerry to set up a meeting for him, which she does.
While Jax is on his way to meet his errant brother, Carly gets an unwelcome visitor: Ric, who is circulating a picture of Mr. Craig among his former hostages in efforts to arrest him. Carly confirms his identity; taking the picture from Ric.
Morgan, in the meantime, comes down the stairs, sees the picture and says "Jerry" to his shocked mother! Poor Jax!!
Finally, we stop in Nicholas' hospital room, where Jerry/Mr. Craig explains to Robin, Patrick and Emily how they can't get away from him, even though they now have the poison's counteragent.
Jerry dragged Emily with him when he accepted an illegal wire transfer that he transferred to an account opened by Em. Why was it illegal? Because it came from sources connected to known terrorists. So if the truth came out about Mr. Craig, Emily's hauled in for treason! There's got to be a way out--and Emily, Nick, Robin and Patrick are bound to find it!
