Hi General Hospital Fans, I apologize for not being able to write when I last signed up. It is important for me to honor my commitments. Alas, something went awry with my computer sooooo. Today's version of GH shows a very kind, compassionate Sonny who will do anything to protect his children. Another forceful mob is trying to hit Sonny's most vulnerable spot.. his family. Reese Marshall has questioned him about his plotting to kill Alexis and Ric to gain FULL custody of little Kristina. She says: "My heart tells me No." Even Alexis is accusatory. Some mob member did hit their car. In fact, they were very fortunate not to have gone over a bluff.I think that Dillan and Georgie arrived in time to help. Alexis ,thank God, did not lose her baby. She does have a heart murmur. Of course, Dr. Monica wanted Alexis to remain overnight in the hospital for more tests, but hardheaded Alexis flew the coop.( Isn't this soooooo like her?)
One of the most alarming scenes is when mobsters beat Mike and grab a fiesty fighting Sam. ME thinks they chose the wrong lady to mess with! HA She finds a knife to attack them when a gun- toting Emily comes to her defense. Em is brave and remembers all too well her violent rape as she defends Sam.Hopefully, Jason will arrive to rescue them and to expose the gansters. In the meantime, Carly has declared to Alcazar that she will not live in fear. She thinks that Alcazar wanted to tell Sonny about RIc's trouble for a self-centered reason.Yet, He chose to do this to protect his beloved Carly and Morgan. Where is Michael now? Is he beginning to trust a sleazy AJ? I think that Michael did believe some of his birth father's explanations.( THE COLD MEAT THING FOR ONE) Will Michael retaliate when he does see Sonny again? Who knows? Anyway, hopefully, Michael will be home with Carly very soon. It is so tough to lose a child, but for the most part, Carly has not given into her grief.Strong women prevail in Port Charles.Speaking of strong females., Emily will surely discuss the rape with Lucky very soon. At least, she confessed it to Jason. Em does need help from a professional which she has not sought. Until she does, an angry, distrustful Em will continue to have nightmares, wonder about her marriage to Nicolas, etc.A good, caring counselor can help Emily to come to terms with this horrible injustice.Of course, as an insightful Lucky says: She must first face the reality of this horrible invasion.
One sweet moment occurred with Jason and Sam as she tried to comfort him and reassure him that she is there for him.He is still dubious about Michael's demise. Please tune in tomorrow to see how all these loose ends are dealt with.
