General Hospital Update for Friday, 4-Feb-2005

When Sonny aims his gun at someone today, he tells a sly intruder to halt. Who is this mysterious person who has been watching Michael, Carly, and Sonny?He or she has sneaked out the door. Sonny is about to lose it so why can't a self-absorbed Alexis give him some space? HA Alexis is raising cain with Ric and others as they wait for Sonny to talk to Sam. Sam has told Sonny and Alexis that she would never have taken Kristina. Then, she tells Jason the truth. He checks out her story, but he can't find anyone whom Sam has mentioned. He doesn't want to believe that Sam is the kidnapper. She tells him that she did steal the money to adopt a baby illegally. She always calls on Jason to save her.Now, Jason is torn between Sonny and Sam. In the meantime, Jason accused one of Sonny's bodyguards of sabotaging the security system. When Jason pulls his gun, the guy draws his. Jason kills him in self-defense.Poor Jason really gets into a lot of trouble.
An exhausted Emily has a firey argument with Elizabeth when she confronts her again about getting help. EM shouts at Liz ,and when Elizabeth brings the doc to look at her, EM really loses it.Skye overhears and wants to help, but Emily pushes her away. When Dr. Webber barely touches Em, she tells him not to ever touch her again. This is a sure sign that she has been violated. Emily talks to a comatose Lucky to try to awaken him. She tells him that Connor was evil, and she should have stayed away from him. This is another sign of an abused raped woman. Now, she is doubting herself. She wonders how she will ever tell her beloved Nik.Luke finally arrives to talk with Tony. He is soooo distraught. He says:" His mother is catatonic, and he is a vegetable." DR.Webber has told Elizabeth and an irate Bobbie earlier that someone will have to make a decision concerning Lucky. Steven asks Luke if Lucky has a living will. Luke will have to make the decision as to whether or not the artificial means should be unplugged. The viewer has already seen the out- of -body experience for Lucky so . Will Luke say "UNPLUG"? Who knows except the writers? ;-)There are so many timely issues in today's segment that need to be taken seriously.
A defunct AJ calls Skye with bad news. He has seen Courtney's photo and engagement announcement on line, and he threatens Courtney. He says that he never got the divorce so he and Court are still hitched. Nice job ,AJ! You just want Courtney's money, right?
As one can see, there are many twists and turns on General Hospital. By the way, a doc gives Em an assignment. She must still be in Med school. He asks her to look at a recent rape victim's chart and analyze. All that cruel violence came back to haunt her.
