General Hospital Update for Friday, 28-Jan-2005

As usual, 0n Fridays, General Hospital leaves its fans wondering about outcomes until Monday's show. The evil Helena has escaped after accidentally killing Lucky in a deadly struggle. He defended Emily.At least, after talking to EM in the hospital, he appeared to have died. Dr. Steven Webber had stabilized him for a brief while.Skye had a gun on Helena when someone asked her to drop it. Now the evil witch has made her mark on many who wishes she had stayed gone. Luke will seek revenge, this is for sure.
IN the meantime, An uptight Alexis is still afraid to leave Kristina at Sonny's alone. Therefore, she sends Brook to babysit. A happy doting Sonny takes it all pretty much in stride. Alexis wants to spend some time with Ric alone. She misses him. Sam keeps talking to a sinister -looking strange woman in a cold, snowy alley. The woman tells her that she needs more money to pull it off. What is Sam mixed up in? What does "pulling it off mean?" We see her trying to enter Sonny's living room where Kristina is alone. The alarm goes off, and Jason runs out to look for the culprit. Sonny informs Jason that they must rip out this system and put a new one in for safety. The guy who is watching their every move in Sonny's newly bought mansion says to a NOT SEEN person , " We will make our move when there is no surveillance system." Someone is definitely plotting to kidnap Kristina. Sam thinks that she has gotten away with running ,but Jason sees her talking to that woman, and realizes that she lied to him. She had told him on the phone that she was in MIami. She starts yelling at him about how he has destroyed them. She can't seem to be rational about losing HOPE.Earlier, we see Bobbie and Carly dining and observing Diego as he meets Alcazar for dinner. Diego tells Lorenzo that he will never be " His FAther", and he leaves abruptly. Bobbie teases Carly about wanting to go comfort a dejected Lorenzo. Later ,she does approach him with concern. He asks her: " Why do you care? " One thinks that there is still something there between them.Has Carly still got feelings for him?"
Tune in Monday to see if Lucky is really dead, if Carly and Lorenzo hook up, if Kristina is abducted, etc. It should bring some exciting closure to these dangling scenarios.
