General Hospital Update for Monday, 3-Jan-2005

Hello Everyone! This is my first update ever so please bear with me. I like to get as much info as possible when I read updates from episodes I've missed so I may be a bit lengthy just to warn you!!

Welcome to General Hospital 2005!!!!

We begin today with Sam tossing confetti and sharing an amazing kiss with Jason!
Next up... Sonny & Carly... He tells her she looks sexy as hell and as the clock strikes starts to kiss her and she stops him. DARN IT!!! They quickly agree that it wouldn't be a good thing because if they start they won't be able to start and being together would be a disaster. Luke stops some woman and asks her who hired her. He almost seems to be going off the deep end over. Courtney stops Diego from killing Alcazar by telling him that Alcazar is his father. And in the process shocks the crap out of Diego and Alcazar both. What a way to start off 2005!!!

Jax & Brooklyn convince Diego to put the gun down...and then Diego takes off. Alcazar tells Courtney he is no longer her concern when she tries to get Jax to stop Diego.

Luke blasts the woman. What amazes me is that the group Luke/Sky/Emily/Nicolas/Lucky/Elizabeth just stand around in the lobby at the ball and discuss the whole thing about trying to catch Helena out in the open like that...HELLO... being discreet about things just isn't their style I guess. So they stand there and talk about their plan and Helena's plan...dumb dumb dumb.

Sam and Jason then get interrupted by a phone call that Sam thinks it is work call for Jason but really it is Bridgett (the baby's mom) calling because she wants Jason to bail her out of jail for drunken disorderly.

Back to Sonny and Carly... They are sadly discussing how they can't be together because in the end they are too different. Sonny and Carly each have this very sad dialogue, which just makes me cry because I really do like them together. And then in walks Alexis and Ric¡Kand Alexis is a little bit inebriated. And talks to them about their mating rituals and frightening Christina and makes a bit of a fool of herself. They leave Christina there for the rest of the night. Sonny tells Carly she doesn't have to go.

Courtney and Alcazar have words and he tells her she isn't capable of taking care of Diego and that she has no more influence over him. He says he will take responsibility for HIS son. Lois then comforts Alcazar and helps him talk about the news.

Courtney then gets a call about Bridgett. And Jason shows up at the PCPD as Bridgett is flashing the fact that Jason is adopting her baby.

Alexis and Ric get home and she pretty quickly passes out.

Sonny offers his room to Carly. She starts to accept and then Steven knocks and you could tell Sonny was sad that she left with Steven.

Alcazar asks Lois questions about being a parent. They talk about his first love, him meeting Diego's mom and his relationship with Carly. Diego talks to Brooklyn outside of Maria's room (his sister/real mom). He tells Brooklyn she is the best thing in his life.

Courtney gets to the PCPD and talks with Jason about Bridget and that she is very troubled. Courtney later calls Jason (Sam answers) and she just lets him know about her placement of Bridget in a special school. Jason finally tells Sam then about Bridget.

Ric wakes up Alexis with Coffee.. and then all of a sudden she realizes she let Christina spend the night. When they get to Sonny's his lawyer was there. Alexis is sure that he will try to use that against her. And warns him against doing so. It gets pretty funny as he messes with her. She tells Christina to say goodbye to Sonny and he emphasizes "Daddy" then tells her how to take care of a hangover!! :)

Sonny and Carly banter about Steven and who is better than who and Sonny tells Carly that she likes "dark and dangerous" and Steven is "kind and open and isn't enough of a challenge to hold her interest." He says he "knows what she likes and what turns her on" Quite interesting Conversation if you ask me!! :)

Luke and Sky go to the hotel to get the attendee list and then see the woman. She admits in the lobby that someone paid her $10,000 and sent her the costume, airline tickets, hotel reservation and all she had to do was go to the party. Luke gets excited and thinks he's hit pay dirt. They then inform Emily and Lucky about the news. She was even given a photo so she'd follow Emily around. Luke wants them to keep working with Conner on being Nicholas.

Carly and Alcazar are in the hospital. And he asks her if she knew about Diego. And he appreciates her wanting him to know the truth. He tells her about Maria and how he was shot right in front of her eyes.

Steven asks Carly out AGAIN...she leaves and a nurse brings him Alcazar's medical records.

Alcazar speaks with Maria about the fact that they should figure out what to do about Diego together "as his parents" and Diego over hears!!!!

Courtney is concerned about Bridget and the power she is holding. Sam thinks that Bridget spinning out of control is good because the authorities can help her out.. but I think she is thinking that it makes things better for her to keep the baby.

Jordan (Sonny's lawyer) figures out that Sonny wanted her there when Alexis picked up Christina ... he admits it and tells her about his plan to use it as leverage to take Christina to Puerto Rico whether Alexis likes it or not.

Next on General Hospital
Ric asks Alexis if she wants to join him on their honeymoon.
Sonny says he got a call from Michael...and Carly says Michael lied.
Diego asks Maria why she didn't tell him Alcazar was his father.
Courtney tells Alcazar to stay away from Diego.
