General Hospital Update for Friday, 31-Dec-2004

What a gala on General Hospital! The Masquerade Ball was definitely a work of artistic endeavor. On this New Year's Eve, all residents of Port Charles are dressed to the nines. The costumes deserve an award of some nature.Liz is sooo adorable in her big hat and dated costume, while LUcky looks cool. Skye looks beautiful, but not as Lady Godiva and Luke's dyed hair looks great! I do not know what Courtney is supposed to be, but she's a doll anyway.
Looking like a clown in her unique make up and red and black hat, Carly and Steven dump the children in Sonny's lap. Then, Rick and lovely Alexis leave Kristina too. Michael deliberately makes a mess.. not to blame it on his little sis, but to drive Sonny bonkers. Of course, Sonny catches on to the ruse. Michael knows that he may be able to lure Carly away from the party. Finally, he does call Carly to tell her that Morgan is throwing up. Naturally , this madre comes running. She literally trips and falls into Sonny's arms where she belongs.Later, one viewer thought." Well, he will kiss her, but he didn't." When Connor, as Nik, walks into tHE BALl, on Em's arm, the stares they got were astounding! Will Connor be able to pull this disguise off. ME thinks soooo. There is one very slender lady who moves like Helena sooo Luke, Skye, and others pounce upon her. This irate female is NO Helena. Perhaps, Helena will return from the dead later. Helena can't be dismissed this quickly. Right? Rick even looks cute with his DILLON- LIKE hair do. One loves the way he looks at Alexis. This is love, is it not?In the meantime, a bedraggled, frayed worn- out- looking Sonny goes to Jason for HELP. Why do all people go to Jason for help? A surprised Sonny sees Sam holding a baby, and he questions her intentions. Sam tells Sonny that she is moving on with Jason ,and they will take care of this baby together.Later, when Jason kisses Sam sweetly but longingly,one knows that his heart is definitely with this raven haired beauty.Poor Courtney...I wonder where that cute DR. Webber is. His sis Liz has told him that Carly is not right for him.All in all, as 2005 is ushered in, one knows that General Hospital will have an exciting ,prosperous year. Will this deviant rebel ever learn? Alcazar and Diego freeze as Courtney screams: " Diego, Alcazar is your father."
