Sorry that I am somewhat late with this review Sickness enveloped me! ugh General Hospital was one long week of sad events. It also dealt with the histrionics of Alexis as she fought to keep Sonny away from Kristina. Ric's restraining order did not do much good since an angry, hurt Sonny was determined not to lose Kristina as he had lost his and Sam's baby. The miraculous facet of Friday's show was that the stem cell taken from Sam's dead daughter seems to be bringing new life to Kristina.. well, at least for the moment. Some complication did occur towards the end of this scenario. Isn't it miraculous that one little cell from a baby's umbilical cord can sustain life. One baby dies, but with Divine help, and medical knowledge another may live.Isn't this the point of this show?( I have no firm stand on stem cell research now.) In her anguish, a broken hearted Sam tells Alexis: " You killed my little girl to get her stem cell." All a desperately grieving Sam can recall is Alexis' begging her to help. Of course, Sam's baby died from a placenta problem. Jason has really been there for Sam. He arranged for a memorial service. I knew that Sam would ask about the little one's looks. Jason said that she had dark ringlets like Sonny's but her face was shaped like Sam's. Just imagine the comfort that he brought to her in her time of feeling empty. This viewer would definitely give accolades to the emotional acting that Alexis, Sam, Sonny. and Jason did.
Carly's dad tells her that he forbids her to stay with Sonny. Carly tells him quite definitively that he knows nil about her complicated life with Sonny. Michael is having a really rough time accepting a change in his parents' marriage. One is sure that moving to a new home without his daddy is not making him too happy. The little children suffer, don't they? The silliest part of Friday's show was this part about Connor. Emily reads to him from Mary's diary, and he loses it. Please let this Connor sequence come to closure.:)
Heather is confronted by Luke as he does some flirting and psychological game-playing. "Red".. Skye is eavesdropping and has no idea what Luke is trying to accomplish.Hopefully, when you tune in on Monday, things will be a little more optimistic on the set of General Hospital...
