General Hospital Update for Friday, 5-Nov-2004

On today's General Hospital:

Sonny comes to Sam and asks her to induce her labor so that Steven can use her babies stem cells so Kristina can live. Sam asks Jason what she should do. He tells Sam that if it were himself he would take the risk, but for a baby that isn't even born yet he doesnt' know, but whatever Sam decides he'll stand by her. A sorrowfully Sam rejects Sonny's plea for Kristina's last chance at living. A single tear rolls down Sonny's cheek, and he walks out of the Chapel.

After Sonny leaves he goes to tell Alexis that Sam has rejected his plea to induce the labor, and is sorry that she won't. Alexis who already had her hopes up to high yells at Sonny from the top of her lungs "That he can make her induce the labor." Sonny tells Alexis that he will do no such thing of the kind to Sam or his baby. Alexis screams "That if you won't make her do it, then I will, and she storms away to find Sam."

At the Chapel Sam sits alone. Jason has left her for the moment to do some other things. Alexis comes in and sits next to Sam trying to explain that Sam should do this for Kristina. Sam explains that she can't. To her a 10% risk is to big to her baby, and why can't Kristina wait until the baby is born. Alexis who has finally gotten to her boiling point pulls out the mother of show stoppers this week, and says "It's easy to say no when death isn't looking you in the face. When it's down the hall and not in your room, when your child isn't being eating at by death. If I can't get you to induce your labor, then you're going to sit with her see what she's going through. See how her chest hardly moves, how she's in pain all the time... JUST THEN Sam screams "I'll do it. I'll induce my labor for Kristina. I'll..., but before she can finish her sentence she screams "My Baby,My Baby". In runs Jason who catches Sam in his arms. She says "Help me Jason, help my baby." Sam passes out. (Alexis looks on in horror mixed with worry for Sam, Kristina, and the baby knowing they are going to blame her what has happened to Sam.)

Also on today's Emily visits Connor again telling him in his coma not talk about what he saw on the cliffs that night between Nickolas, Emily, and Helena.

On the next General Hospital:

Jason tells Sonny that Sam is in the ER and Alexis put her there. Lucky brings the military police to take Connor, but Connor has taken Emily.
