General Hospital Update for Friday, 8-Oct-2004

Gee! Why isn't anyone writing reviews for General Hospital? Today's episode was great so I think I can give you the facts.( this is from memory)
Skye has told her grandfather Edward that he is a fool to marry Heather. He becomes quite angry and leaves the district attorney's abode. Heather tells Skye that Luke will never love or save her. Skye asks: " Why is this so important to you?" In the meantime, a devious Heather is feeding someone who is supposed to be Laura in Edward's mansion's attic. She plans to marry Edward, get his money, kill him, eradicate Laura, and hook up with Luke. What a wierd ,sick villainess she is! Skye is sent back to prison when the engine miraculously stops on the police van. A hobo is hit, and when the cop gets out to inspect, a Halloweenish Luke says hello to one surprised, tickled Skye. His teeth are decayed looking soooo he looks the part of a degenerate.Funny Luke! Skye told Allen that she knew that Luke would save her. Will he? Perhaps sooooooooo.
Another outstanding scenario is when Tracey takes Emily and Nik a book that she stole from wicked Helena. This book on curses wtitten in Latin may prove useful to help bring a weak Emily out of jeopardy.Tracey says: "I wanted to help you." Emily is dubious, but Tracey says; "Get up and get to work like a true Quartermaine woman." Is this all in Em's mind? HEr white knight in shining armour, Nicolas, goes to the courthouse or whatever to confront his evil grandma. He tells her that he will kill her if she does not tell him how to save his beloved Em. He puts a barrier up so Rick and the others cannot enter, and he starts to choke Helena.
Another happening in today's exciting world of SOAP is when Durant, Carly's so - called-dad, has Sonny's warehouse blown to bits. People were hurt, and Jason and Sonny are livid. John Durant is trying to blackmail Alcazar whom he thinks killed Mary Bishop. Thus ensuing a war between him and Sonny. Did Alcazar really kill Mary? DOes John Durant really care for Carly? Who knows? Carly is told not to see John again for now, but she goes to see him anyway. She tells him that she will not see him again. Naturally, Jason has been hiding out in Durant's suite so he hears all. Also, the young, handsome doc Steven has tried to warn Carly. He says Durant is a powerful man,but one can't tell how discovering you as his daughter will change him. Steven likes Carly sooo he doesn't want to see her get hurt.Now, wasn't this episode exciting!
