General Hospital Update for Friday, 20-Aug-2004

General Hospital was most in tune today with some love,an eerie, stormy night, seances, escapes, etc.Nikolas finds that the WITCH Helena has had her goons at Shadybrooke to take care of, supposedly, one crazed Emily. She has been heavily sedated and placed in a straight jacket. As Nik reels with anger and fear, he remembers all the past loving occasions with HIS EM. He fights others to take her out of this loony bin.They arrive safely at THe Quartermaine's boathouse, their love nest.NIK tells her that he will make this all up to her as he expresses his undying love for her. Helena tells someone: "Emily is poison so she must die before the night ends." Hopefully, an astute Nikolas will keep her safe.
ON this dismal, frightening night, Bobbie begs Sonny to tell Carly to let go of her trying to find her father. Bobbie knows who he is because she calls him.What is she trying to hide? Jason asks Carly why she wants to dredge up the past to find a biological father who was "no father to her". Carly wants to take this chance to know more about her heritage. Is this prudent? Who knows. Anyway, Sonny backs her in this endeavor to locate her long -lost daddy. Carly wants to leave for Florida very soon.SOOO Sonny goes to get things lined up to get his jet.
Edward tells Dillon and Tracy that he can feel Lila's presence. Later, when Dillon tells his teen friends this, Brook says: " Let's have a seance." In the meantime, Sage is angry because Brook Lynn is taking her spotlight sooo. Sage is planning something devious to retaliate.As the wind, rain, and lightning flourish, Justice is hiding Faith in the Quartermaine's freezer. Everyone is looking for the escapee Faith. She tells Justice that her biggest regret was letting him go.HOw real is this? Justice and she get very passionate, and the teens hear some moaning and groaning. IS this dear Lila's ghost? AS the board in the seance responds to their questions, Sage says: " Someone is going to die tonight." Will it be Sage or Faith?( an aside: PLEASE KEEP FAITH..).When Courtney tries to tell Jason that she has not slept with Jax. Jason tells her not to tell him everything about her new life, etc. One thinks Jason is becoming besotted with a very pregnant Sam every day.Tune in Monday to see what results from the teens' seance.
