General Hospital Update for Friday, 18-Jun-2004

Major secrets and unresolved conflicts abound as usual on today's General Hospital episode. Sonny has been shot as he went to look for a run-away Sam at a nunnery. Unfortunately, he is dying from a bad gunshot wound. Sister Agnes is trying desperately to save his life. He keeps asking for "his Carly". She sneaks in wearing a nun's habit. Is she getting some comic time in on GH? Perhaps sooooooooo. She says to a dying Sonny: " All that matters now is our love." He finally pulls out of his pain long enough to dress to leave this country. In the meantime, Jason has found the" nomad SAM". SAM LIES TO HIM ABOUT LOSING HER BABY. As she conjures up a tale of miscarriage, SHE DOES FEEL SOME MAJOR PAINS. JASON TENDERLY PICKS HER UP ,AND LOOKS FOR MEDICAL HELP. To THIS FAN, Jason ALWAYS seems to save THE NEEDY, DESPERATE WOMEN. :-) a DOCTOR EXAMINES HER AND SAYS THAT HER BABY IS VERY HEALTHY.. BUT THERE IS A SLIGHT PROBLEM.She must have her ob gyn to make a repairment( surgical procedure) or the baby will die within her. She tells Jason that she is now eager to have his baby.. Sonny's child.Jason stays with her and paces.
Some mysterious looking geek who knocked someone out ,and stole his ID keeps watching Jason.IS this the eerie guy who shot Sonny?He must have a hit on Jason too.While Jason is protecting Sam, Courtney and Jax have a rather intimate little dinner of wine and sandwiches, and she kisses him with gust. She flirts and teases, but she says: "You will not make love to me tonight or ever." She wants to break some bet. Could Courtney possibly be enjoying Jax's charm? ME thinks soooooooo. When Ed's cute ex appears ,she goes after Jax. Will Lois make Court jealous?
As Ric is saying goodnight to Alexis, Liz appears with her darling son Cameron. She named him after Zander's dad.The three look rather uncomfortable . After both Ric and Alexis hold the baby, Elizabeth departs. A bewildered Ric sits there wondering why Liz has returned to Port Charles. She returns,without Cameron. Ric asks :"WHy did you come back?" She stumbles to find an answer.They both are a little tongue tied ,to say the least.
Mary, feeling lost and rejected, has tried to drown herself in a lake. She is rushed to a hospital in bad shape. While there, Nikolas and Emily make passionate love to each other. NIK feels guilty, but EM is about to show him their photo together when the telephone rings.She wants to verify their love. He learns about Mary from a concerned Alcazar. As Mary dreams, she has images of a major fight with Nik. Emily has told him the truth, and he goes ballistic. He tells Mary that she has stolen his life, betrayed a grieving Emily, and is pathetic.When she awakes, there stands her Connor/ Nikolas. He promises her that he will not forsake her. Yet, I think Emily will ,very soon, reveal the gospel truth to him. Nik has been very suspicious of Mary. HIS GUILT IS RUNNING OVER in this dramatic scene.
As this exciting hour ends, one sees the mysterious geek go stealthily after an exhausted Jason. Tune in Monday for the rest of the story.
