General Hospital Update for Friday, 14-May-2004

Well, fans of General Hospital, life is certainly full of surprises in Port Charles. Jax visits Courtney as she is feeding and loving baby Morgan. When Courtney hands Morgan to Jax, he appears to be a little awkward. Courtney reveals to him that she did lose a child. She says: "I've always wanted to be a MOM." Jax reassures her that she will make a super mother and a devoted supporter for abused children which he will front.In the meantime, Jason has contacted Sonny to ask him to come to Costa Rico to chat with Sam. Without so much as considering Sam's feelings, Sonny tells her if this baby is his .. he will take care of him or her. Much to Sam's agony, Jax suddenly appears too. My question is: "Does it take long to fly from New York to Costa Rico?":-) I mean Jax was there in a New York minute sooooo.They both anger her ,and she lets both prospective DADS have it in her " Samantha Mode." Sam is not to be harrassed or bullied by these two gents.Jax tells an irate Sam that she must return for a court-ordered paternity test. As she runs up the steps at the convent, she stumbles and falls. Both men race to her aid.
Luke goes a little nutty as he discusses the fact or fiction that a mentally ill Laura could be stalking them. For the first time, Luke tells an astonished Skye that Laura must know that he is falling in love with her. Lucky enters to alert Luke to the questionable devastation of his business.Also, a threatening note has been scribbled in lipstick in reference to Skye. Luke, again, becomes nonsensible with Skye and Lucky.( An ASIDE) Lucky is so cute! When is someone going to be there for him? One wonders if it has to be Emily. Anyway, as things progress, Luke goes to Skye's loft to apologize. He sees her lying on the floor near poisoned water that someone has prepared for Skye to drink. As he tries to break in, some shadowy figure knocks him out.Is this person a tortured Laura who was in a catatonic state or is it someone posing as Laura?How does a catatonic patient escape an asylum?

A heartbroken Carly runs into Alcazar in the park. It infuriates him to see how Sonny hurts her. He checks with Nikolas who is doing a job for him, and tells him to see what is taking place between Sonny and Sam. NIk reports back to Alcazar ,and of course, Alcazar tells Carly the BABy NEWS.Will Lorenzo and Carly ever get to truly love and care for each other? Carly has, in a sense, told Courtney that perhaps their love is meant to be.Sonny is treading on dangerous grounds with Carly and Sam. They are not going to be jerked around.
A short scenario takes place when Dillon is watching a sexy Sage sing for her video. She kisses Dillon, and Georgie walks in. Dillon tells Sage to get lost, and Georgie confesses that she is jealous of the sultry teen.
All is not well in GH land sooooo. Will Sam lose her baby? Will Skye die? Will Laura be the perpetrator of weird incidents? You will simply have to wait until Monday to find out.
