General Hospital Update for Monday, 22-Mar-2004

Zander reveals himself to Emily and says it was him she saw at the park and not an illusion by any means. He tells her he still loves her and insists they run away together. She tells him she will never love him the way she loves Nikolas and insists he leave without her. Zander can't handle the rejection and puts a fear in Emily that Nikolas never made his flight, [but in a later scene we see a very much alive Nikolas on the plane looking at the wedding rings he bought for him and Emily-- but the look on his face is not one of happiness ] He tells her to make love to him to prove she does not still love him and that she's hopelessly devoted to Nikolas.
(We see it EVERYday, why can't he?)

Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Inid, in search of her missing brother Wally (who Zander murdered), goes to Mac's room and asks if he saw her brother the night of the fire. Lucky walks in and tells her to leave Mac alone. As Ric is retrieving what are believed to be Zander's belongings, Inid walks passed the desk and identifies the ring he is holding as her brother's. Liz, Felicia, Lucky and Ric all realize the truth- "Zander's dead body" is really Wally's and Zander is still alive.

Elizabeth arrives outside the house Emily and Zander are in and sees them both hugging!

Sonny tells Carly he is sure it was Alcazar who planted the bomb in his limo. Sage walks in on Faith holding a shaving blade to her uncle's neck and scares her off. Carly shows up soon after and asks Alcazar if he arranged for the bomb to go off so Sonny would look bad and he denies any involvement.

Sam is attacked by the hitman on her boat and its Jason to the rescue! She manages to get the gun away from the mystery man and as he runs off the boat, Jason ran after him and took a few shots but the hitman got away. He shows up on Alcazars balcony. Alcazar indeed did pay him to plant the bomb. He tells him to leave Port Charles but the man demands $500,000 MORE and says he won't leave until he kills Sam and Jason and gets his money.
Meanwhile, Carly is in his house making a phone call to Leticia.

Jason tells Sonny he doesn't think they should trust Sam or that she should spend her recovery in Sonny's penthouse. He doesn't feel comfortable discussing "business" with her just a room away. Sonny says he trusts her and does not want her out of his sight. Jason tells Sonny that he is only keeping her around to fill the void in his life.

Courtney shows up at Kelly's in much more professional attire. Her dad compliments her and says how proud he is of her success. He asks her to bring the custody papers Alexis dropped off to Sonny so he can legally sign all parental rights to Carly. He suspects Alexis didn't drop them off herself because she can't face Sonny or Carly.
