General Hospital Update for Friday, 19-Mar-2004

It doesn't go over very well when Sonny tells Carly that he cannot come over to have breakfast with her and Michael. He says: " Sam is not well.. she fainted in my arms" soooo. Is this joint custody going to work out between these two? We shall see.
A terrified Emily tells Nikolas that she thinks that she saw Zander. Nik assures her that she is waking from a really bad nightmare.NO WAY.. Psychologically speaking, one thinks that Em is truly feeling guilty about the way she hurt Zander. She and Nikolas make love ....,etc.
Luke saves Faith from meeting her demise in the hands of Jason. Sonny has asked Jason to get rid of her. While, perhaps, getting ready to kill Faith,an unexpected man comes to her rescue.It's Luke to the rescue!
Luke appears and makes a deal with Sonny and Jason to let him watch over Faith. Of course, Luke is after her money. A jealous Skye watches as Faith kisses Luke. She is up to her usual flirtations and manipulations with men. I thought that she cared for Justice.( Luke is funny with Skye and Faith) an observation..
In the meantime, Courtney goes to Carly's to see Michael and Morgan. They, of course, discuss why Sonny did not come and Alcazar 's blindness. Michael hears it all. He is such" a little man" with a big heart. He plays this role sooooo well. Carly returns to the hospital to visit with Alcazar who went home. Before Court can take the boys to the park, Michael disappears. He goes to see his dad, and he asks some very pointed questions. Like:" Why can Sam stay here when I can't?" This bothers Sam so she quietly disappears. This SAM-- Sonny thing, plus Carly-- Lorenzo thing, has got to be difficult for Michael. He's such a bright, insightful child.What child would not be confused?
Lorenzo tells Carly that he does not want her to pity him or feel obligated to him in any way. She tells him that she simply wants to care for him as he did for her.He says: " I may never regain my sight." A nurse is coming to care for him. Guess what! A cute Faith who looks like a candy striper holds a knife to his neck. One thinks that Faith would have been killed by now, but her comical ways add lightness to an ,otherwise, serious script.Perhaps this comical relief is putting GH back on top again with Emmy nominations. YEA!( reviewer's aside)
Sonny takes Michael back to Carly's, and he and Jason tell him not to leave home like that again. Michael still questions why these two cannot live together. Sonny tells him that he will ALWAYS love Carly. At this time, Carly walks in. Sonny has said that he wants to keep Sam safe from that evil guy who knifed her. He asks Jason to go protect her. When Jason reluctantly gets to the penthouse to protect Sam, he finds Sam's note. She tells Sonny that it is causing too much confusion to stay with him. When she lies down on her bed in her boat, that evil guy comes to finish her off. Jason appears just in time.He is such a rescuer, is he not?
Emily is standing somewhere ALONE when she muses: " I did love you, Zander,but I am ready to let you go." Zander reappears, and Em realizes that" the dead ex is not dead." Will Zander try to kidnap Em? Will Sonny suggest that he and Carly reconcile for the sake of the little ones? Tune in Monday to get some answers to these dilemmas.They are both driving me bananas with their immaturity, but separated adults can act like children. HA( OOPS and will the vicious, sexy Faith slit Lorenzo Alcazar's jugular? )
